Maybe that's why you can't flush toilet paper, they're clogged with money.
Have a little read about how those low Wikipedia numbers came about.
Is this proper trolling, or is he genuinely dissing him? No idea who it is that tweeted that.
I guess you could say
51 billion down the drain?
Has this been posted yet?

Basically, people visiting Sochi should not use any device that has personal information on it, due to rampant hacking. I had no idea it was that bad.

No, crazy shit will occur when the exposed pipes connecting the synchronized toilets get kicked or broken in some way...
And new event; Synchronized Shitting. The only sport where loafing is encouraged.
My neighborhood does this with my HOA dues. It looks horribly, washes away in a week, and doesn't fool anyone. It is the winter, grass isn't supposed to be a lush green.
Damn
I hope the hockey rinks have good ice
Maybe I'm alone in this, but a lot of this comes across as entitled bitches whining.
Yes, poor you, you get to get paid for two weeks while you take a vacation and cover some meaningless sports. Yes, some of your hospitality will be compromised because of this massive influx of people they are not used to.
That awkward moment when you make eye contact with the people queuing.
They've had over six years and billions of dollars to gear up for this. The Olympic Committee doesn't just send you a postcard that says "see you next year". You have to actually bid for this shit, and those bid packages aren't cheap, either. I don't disagree that expectations should be managed when you're holding the Games in the BFE, but "not used to" isn't really a valid counter-argument for a long-lead time, volunteer event.

I visited my cousin in Ukraine, and we were walking through a square in Chortkiv, and a dog walked up to me and I instinctively patted it as it walked by, and he freaked out, "what are you doing? Don't pet stray dogs," and he laughed, telling me he didn't want to get rabies.
As a Canadian, it wouldn't occur to me that a dog walking around in a public square with lots of people was a stray. But then I started looking around, and yup, there were a lot of strays!
It should be brand new, professionally laid turf though.I'm for all the general hilarity, but painting patches of dead grass in the winter isn't that unusual a landscaping trick for big events.
Can we change the title to "People who have never been in the military or have generally lived amazing lives: The Thread"?
Note: I am in the second group, although did experience group toilet adventures on Boy Scout trips to military sites.
We?Why in God's name did we allow Russia to host these?
Just read about how hackers are having a field day with every device connecting to the internet there.

You're right, we should've stopped Russia from bribing the IOC in order to get the Olympics. We should've also stopped them from bribing FIFA to get the World Cup in 2018.I just meant we figuratively guys come on

And going back to the Shaun White thing; when even the courses are trying to kill you you know things are just going to be a guaranteed clusterfuck.
meanwhile in canada

What does that say about Vancouver where a course not only tried, but succeeded?
Well Bribing is how Atlanta got 96 and Salt Lake got 2002. Shouldn't we be mad at other countries for not bribing enough?
