Coordination will be affected at some point, I'm sure. Lights also seem to get more intense or unbearable. Going outside, although necessary, is displeasurable.

Sometimes in life we must pull all-nighters, no matter what the circumstance:

_caring for a family member who can't fend for them self
_project deadlines and extenuating circumstances
_too much celebration
_long sets of gaming or whatever with no rest
_being constantly on the run from someone tracking you

Whatever it is that we have to stay awake for, how long does it take to feel normal and rested again? What can one add to their diet to speed the recovery process? What, besides sleep, besides caffeine, can one do to relieve exhaustion?

Are you insane? That doubles the exhaustion.

All you can do to actually relieve the exhaustion is sleep. But you can forget about it throughout the day by not staying put and constantly moving around, and doing stuff. ANYTHING. But if you sit down, or just stand there, you'll slowly realize how tired you are, and it'll be that much harder to stay awake.

Sleep. Just...sleep. Seriously, nothing will feel better than the time you finally just crash into your bed again.

past 4 weeks ive been working overnight 40 hours a week, its seriously fucked shit up. I cant really tell what day it is half the time.

Only way to shift it is to catch up on your sleep on the weekend, seriously I didn't get enough sleep consistently for one week, and slept like 15 hours and woke up real chipper Saturday afternoon. You're really really fried at the end of the day if you don't get enough sleep the night before.

I've been up until 3 AM for the past two days playing GTA San Andreas. Lucky that work has slowed down a bit, cuz I hit the wall at 2 pm like clockwork. :p

That dosen't help. That's what keeps me up in the first place.

another vote for catching up in the weekend. I am a night person I find myself up til 2am almost every night. Not good considering I have to be at work at 8am. Fridays I work 6am to 10pm so I tend to pass out friday night at 11 and sleep til 2pm on saturday. Which helps.

tho during the week coffee is my very bestest friend. 7-8 cups = a few hours of sleep :D

I speak from experience... if you do too many overnighters in your lifetime, your health will becoming adversely affected later on in life. I'm paying the price myself right now.

what kind of problems?

I survive on about 2-4 hours of sleep a day, so its not too bad. You just reach this state of tired that doesnt make you sleepy, you are just so fucking worn down.
