I'll keep that in mind.If you wanna keep the magic I suggest you don't go anywhere unless it's this thread or a game's OT, GAF is a scary (read sad) place outside.
I played the entire game with keyboard only without any issues, I guess I'm hardcore like that.
Better part: not even my real cousin. She's actually the daughter of the woman my actual cousin is dating.
Worst part: she's like 15.

I've heard that playing Super Meat Boy with keyboard only and taking breaks to play Contra 4 makes your chest hair grow.

I think it's up to us to make this place a better place every time we post fellow GAFfer. As an example, I know I've written many posts that were right to the bottom of a page and many were ignored because a troll post was "stronger" and got more hate from others. As an example, I just made a post on the Xbox One thread couple of days ago to wish them all good luck, have fun, etc etc and then, right above said post an ex-GAFfer (banned) said he was hyped, happy that some PS4's are having problems and Killzone and Knack are not games. I mean... it added nothing to the discussion and only brought more pointless hate towards each other.
It's sad when I see those posts, it really is, but for every bad or sad post one makes, another good one can also happen, it's up to us. I mean... sometimes I feel I'm like Ned Flanders you know, from Simpsons and I almost loose my faith but then I remember that episode when he met a similar Flanders but on another Town and that gives me hope because I know there's plenty of great people in here. The others just don't know -yet- how lucky their are to be part of this Community and sometimes it takes a Ban for them to understand that, which is a shame. As for myself, I will never stop because I truly care about these fellow GAFfers that build this Community every day.

I'd guess that P-A accidentally sold the same key twice the second person filed a used key ticket with Valve.
You just come back in this thread and get some hope and restore your faith, then you can venture back out into the wilds. Or just look at your new computer and remember how awesome a certain section of GAF is
Always shrug it off Monk, we have to remember that we share this hobby with some of the dumbest people on the planet.
Now that's downright snobbish. I do not welcome such lines of thought, personally.
Woke up this morning and decided to check the coming soon section on steam.

You have no idea how much emotion that one screenshot brought on. My childhood is now apparently one day away from being on steam.

Spot on, Grief. I've never understood why so many people, in the gaming world in particular, but on the internet (and possibly simply in 'life') thrive on, and seek, conflict and disharmony.
What is that? it looks fantastic!

I'm a resident non-entity in this thread, in relative terms, but I'm very proud to consider myself a small part of SteamGAF.

Mysterious Cities of Gold, which as a child of the 80's, was the best cartoon show ever (well maybe after Battle of the Planets and Willie Fog).
Whaaaaat?!
Also, now I'm thinking to start a #teamstrahovski avatar extravaganza to fight away from this thread the Saoirse frenzy

There are still some games available here:
- Gumboy Tournament x2

- Warfare
- Supreme Ruler 2020 Gold
- Razor 2: Hidden Skies
- World War 3: Black Gold
- World War 2: Panzer Claws
- Commander: Conquest of the Americas
Was this in a bundle somewhere that I missed? I could have used that DLC.- Race 07 + Race Injection + some DLC x2
I think people need to play more games. If one discusses games without playing them, without having new experiences, one is not so much discussing games as they are expressing/defending opinions. You can't play an opinion.Honestly the internet is a big part of it. Say that you have a room and into it you dump 10 people who share some common interest (Video Games for the sake of example) and I'd say that most of the time you'd get some fun, friendly discussion. Maybe folks would even play a game or two. But take 5,000 people who share the same interest, dump them on the internet and you pretty much always get a much worse result. Too much trolling, too much dogpiling on opinions out of the majority, too much snark, too many posters looking to make jokes for the audience instead of discussing. It all just gets worse when you add more people and remove the face to face connection. Don't get me wrong, GAF does a good job moderating and I enjoy the discussion here, but it's just a bit of the nature of the beast to some degree.
Sometimes all you need is

You have no idea how much emotion that one screenshot brought on. My childhood is now apparently one day away from being on steam, heck I even have a cat named Zia.
It is just....wow.

Did Deadly Premonition always have controller support? I swear I looked at the steam page for it when it first released and it didn't have controller support before.
If it always did have it and it works well, then I'll definitely purchase it in December.
Anyone used controller on it yet?
Lovely giveaway, MakeshiftChef.
btw Grief, Hard Reset is pretty awesome. Thanks for recommending it.
