There has been an ongoing thread on the Valhalla Steam forums where users have been expressing their interest in having this feature. The thread has over 8k posts. Looks like Ubi weren't kidding about "strengthening their player-centric approach" and "doing business that prioritizes fan feedback." All it took was for their business to be in the shitter to listen. Thanks Ubi.

I'd say it's possible with Ubisoft desperate to earn as much goodwill as they can. Easy way to boost sales on Steam for legacy titles.

What's shitty is they could have done this at any point but they actively wanted to make the Steam version inferior to push people to other storefronts. So scummy.

Look, I always believe in second chances. Whether it is for people or companies. Ubisoft has entered a good path bringing all of their games to Steam, achievements (Not necessary for me but more feature for the game the merrier) etc. etc.

I sincerely hope they won't go off the rail again for that "exclusivity" shit on PC.
