Nope, it doesn't have both. I got a note before purchasing though, saying that the DLC will be gifted to me.
My bank did show that money has been used, so I guess I'll just for purchase.
And for some reason Valve always releases a Dota2 patch the same day as TF2 patches. If they keep that up when Dota2 officially releases it's going to be bad.The curse of the TF2 patch

I believe the test version is just a beta of the beta.
No one knows if we're going to get to keep DOTA2 if we're in the beta. I doubt it if the game is paid for, though I think it's widely believed that DOTA2 will be Free2Play.

Really? I didn't find his distorted description of the nature of the comments here reasonable but trollish. I merely flipped the obvious back on him. New Sim City always-on internet connection and Origin requirement, who actually WANTS that as preferred features? The comments made about that before he showed up were entire reasonable and measured.
The save files are synchronized. If you play offline then connect, your save is uploaded. If you go to another computer and the save online is newer, then you use that
If you know you are going to be without Internet for awhile I would definitely recommend going into offline mode before losing Internet. For several of us, including myself, we cannot get into offline mode without being online first. Which means that if my Internet goes out and I wasn't prepared, I cannot play my steam games until I regain Internet connection for at least long enough to go online then go offline.
They'd be pretty stupid to announce a sale before-hand, considering everyone who want it now then would wait to pay less.
Maybe that day, happen with the last big update..but man, The Witcher 2, worth the full price

Why does my steam community profile show that i have 9 games while i have only 5?
One of these (Renegade) has two dlc included, so the count goes to 7, but the other two?

Get to work on that library of games! I know you said you actually play your Steam games, but that's because you have so few!
Come a Summer sale (or a spring sale...) you'll buy so much and wonder what the heck to play!Join the club!
They pushed a TF2 update during the winter sale at the same time they were announcing the new daily deals. It's like they do it on purpose.
I know I'm late but maybe it's still helpful advice. It really depends on how much you play. If you are going to play lots get the complete pack ($17 now vs. $60 out of sale).
The Defense of Crete pack is a bunch of challenge maps (like defend missions). Get the skirmish f you plan on playing coop with friends or vs the AI. The game has stuff like different currencies for in-game items (color coded loot) you can equip your units, so I would suggest getting at least 1 premium civ so you have access to most stuff, but if you are going to play it for a couple of hours only don't buy anything. The base game has a decent chunk of content to try out.
I've never seen an active Steam account without a Valve game before. Even one of my mates, who is addicted to Call of Duty, owns Portal.

Well I decided to put my money where my mouth is and preorder Rayman Origins, though I don't know if the original Rayman game is worth it. I want to indicate in some tiny fashion that I am willing to buy interesting Ubisoft games if they are priced for less than $50 at release and don't have third party DRM. I hope the game does well.
the number flucates, it could be some sdk or some f2p game or a free weekend or DLC, it's never accurate. use steam calculator more a "more accurate" number of games.

Principe Nero, have you at least played the Half-Life games before? You can activate Valve CD keys (and many others) on Steam, if you still have them around.

Unless someone with a keygen has already activated your CD key, which is pretty likely at this point.

I don't have any keys, just played the Orange Box on 360.
I'll wait for summer sales, if i rember well the Valve stuff always become cheaper.

Yeah, the Valve Complete Pack will be available for pittance.
There's two version of the game if I recall, a retail/standard release and a steam special edition which you can get from steam, I guess all other DD stores have the standard release.
It's like the the Witcher 2 situation where the game only uses steamworks if you buy it from steam.
