Every version of Chrome since Chrome 11 have supported input boxes with search capabilities. This is a function of Chrome and HTML5 and not exactly a function of Steam. However, since Chrome is required for the Chrome version of Enhanced Steam, it's easy to reconfigure the search box to allow speech input using Chrome's built in speech recognition engine.
A lot of gamers typically already have a headset on when sitting down at their gaming computer. Of course, it will be possible to disable this in the options if you'd like.

Many people pronounce Ys the wrong way.
You still have to click the speech button, but it seems helpful for the demographic whose hands fall off after they click the button but before they have a chance to start typing.

It would be laughably trivial to write a bit of code on the back end that detects if your browser is capable of this and (if it is) add the speech input controls to the search box.

You need to put some code in there that detects if a Valve employee is using Enhanced Steam and put a message at the top that says HIRE ME or a link to your resume or something.

Too right it is. Any complaints about "mobile games to Steam" in regards to ports simply needs to remember, they are all games in the end. Tis true sometimes we get bad games, money grabbing games, or just not well built for PC games, but we get to enjoy plenty of good fun ones as well.
Now if only the Audio Games (different from video games) would start making the leap between platforms.

A mate of mine from the army still loves to play games on Steam, but due to an injury with his fingers, typing is a rather slow and dull affair for him, this would allow far quicker access to the games he wants to get and can play.

Way ahead of you. There isn't anything like that in Enhanced Steam itself (since that could be considered "spying on users") but there are some fun bits put into the Enhanced Steam website.
I have a small list of mostly user-submitted issues that are things I'm planning on adding/fixing on Github. Other than that, I just look for ways to make people's experiences on Steam better in general. I try to search forums like this one and other Steam forums and communitues for common frustrations people have and try to find solutions that can be worked into Enhanced Steam.
Sometimes I pick something at random from this guide that I can fix, and (if I feel like the fix would be beneficial) I fix it.
At first they actually gave me a "no". Now they just ignore me. :'(
Thanks for the tip about ablegamers, I'll definitely give them a heads up on this once the feature is released. And I'm not sure about the accents, but I do know that Chrome uses Google's own speech recognition patterns which are constantly evolving and improving.

Well that is nice, for those of us that got that lovely Darksiders 1 and 2 (and something else) bundle off Amazon not too long ago, they got around to putting up the key or download option for the formerly missing Darksiders 2 Shadow of Death DLC in the "Games and Software Library" section of one's account..

I've been personally targeted by that type of lawyering in the past. It's a ridiculous practice (see: Scrolls/The Elder Scrolls), but it's normal for that type of copyright law. Bigger businesses have teams that just scour the internet for anything that could possibly be a threat and then their legal teams start taking action to try to "protect" the company from anything that could be detrimental. But in a world where someone once spilled coffee on themselves and got a multi-million dollar settlement because there wasn't a warning that the coffee would be hot, everything legal has seemingly become an exercise in protecting your own ass and limiting liability.
I'm not condoning it -- I'm just merely saying that they did back off.

I have a minor suggestion that I know would be useful to me come sale time. When going through your wishlist, is there any possibility to have a button to have certain percentages off to be added to cart? For example, options to add everything at 75% or better to cart and 50% or better to cart. It might seem silly but for people with large wishlists it may be useful. You may also consider add all games under $2.50, $5 or under $10 to cart as well.
I noticed the add all from wishlist to cart button is gone so I don't know if that posed problems or bogged down the system (I may just be unable to find it). I just feel like the wishlist customization could use a bit more.

In my humble bumble opinion, that's 2 out of 3 of the actual good songs from the ME3 OST. The third one being An End, Once and for All.
Really disappointing soundtrack overall, especially after ME and ME2 were so solid.

I've already added a few sorting / filtering options to the wishlist that somewhat alleviate this. I'm planning on adding checkboxes similar to the ones I put on store pages for lists of DLC. As with those check boxes, there will be an options panel that will allow you to select games in bulk by certain conditions (such as "Under $5", etc). Then there will be multiple buttons at the bottom such as "Add Selected To Cart" or "Remove Selected From Wishlist".
You mention that you have a large wishlist and that the "Buy Wishlist" button is gone and that's probably the cause. Steam sometimes times out on this request when you have a lot of games on your wishlist, usually people start seeing problems when they have over 200 games on there.
Eh, I prefer the ME3 one over 2. ME1's is not really comparable, it sounds so different (like pretty much everything in the game).

I have 100+ hours in ME1 and 60 in ME2.
I prefer ME2 to 1 any day of the week. Actually really like ME3 as well but the limit on choices in the game was my biggest disappointment. Sucked that everything was simply good or bad. No more middle ground type answers.

I have played some more of War of the Human Tanks. Gotta say this game is getting better and better as I play it. The gameplay is a really neat mix of strategy that's well worth trying out if you're into that sort of thing. Also the soundtrack is top notch.

After finishing XCOM decided to change for a different genre and started Mafia II.
This game looks really good on PC, I'm surprised. The bridges and the city looks really nice the snow is amazing and running all this on 60 FPS is quite nice too, facial expressions nicely done, I'll try to play a bit more since I'm only 2 hours in.
On a side note, are expecting another Weekly bundle today? I've been avoiding most of the bundles lately since there only seems to be one title I'm interested in in those different bundles and when I look to my Backlog I keep on avoiding them.

Mafia 2 is one of my favorite games that I have played last year when I did a backlog blitz.
The biggest thing I can say is play it as a story focused experience. True it's an open world game but I personally felt it was only open for the missions. Since there really is nothing worth doing in the environment. The story and the conclusion are top notch. Never played the DLC though.
