It's really hard to justify Harvest Moon on PC in a post-Stardew Valley world. It really is that good.
Even if that were the case it would still sell many more units than Wild Guns.

No better time to start caring about vanquish.
Own the PS3 version and couldnt bother to finish it by how bored I was by the game. I enjoyed Binary Domain more.
Oh shit, you are back. I must have summoned you with my powers.
I had to cancel my perma only cause the white theme was hurting my eyes tbh. Also why were you asking that?
You give the thread its power.I hadn't seen your posts for a while and remembered you got banned back a bit.
Ahhh nice. What kind of power tho? I didnt post much really lol

I got Voodoo Vince since I love 3D platformers and never played it on og xbox. Everything seemed fine except I thought the controls on Vince were really weird. He moved crazy fast and he only stayed in the air for a fraction of a second when he jumped. I thought it was a really weird design decision and maybe why the game wasn't more popular.
Turns out there's a bug when running at higher than 60fps.
PS4 just ran out of all worthwhile exclusives confirmed.
Now the question is... Yooka or Vodoo?

Update and fixes are live!
APRIL 19 - BEEPGAMES
We've updated Voodoo Vince: Remastered to address some issues we've heard about since our launch yesterday:
1. Some players reported seeing a black screen at launch and/or a freeze at the Beep Games logo screen. This has been fixed.
2. Fixed issues with toggling full screen mode on/off with certain high end monitors.
3. Fixed bug that caused animation and physics to run at hyper speed when monitor refresh rate was set to higher than 60hz.
4. Fixed Pin Swing keyboard bug that prevented using the move while Vince is in mid-air.
5. Fixed rare crash in Busy Butler level. As it was caused by audio cross fade this may fix issues in other parts of the game.
I have the Xbox version of Yooka Laylee and get massive dizziness from it. I put money into the kickstarter the day it was announced and I can't play it

It's similar to the older top down Harvest Moon games, like SNES, Friends of Mineral Town, etc., definitely worth a buy at some point.Hmm... I remember the hype around the time when it was released, but i was too busy with my studies at the time. Totally forgot about it. Will definitely be picking this up next time it's on sale or in a bundle.
Is it more similar to the golden SNES harvest moon or the ones of today?
Have you downloaded the latest patch yet? It fixed the animation issues for me while running at a high refresh rate, pretty quick turnaround. Some other notes:
Narrow FOV?
Last time I played it was around 1pm eastern today so I'm guessing this patch came out a little later? I could get it working by forcing my monitor to 60 hz but figured they'd have a patch out soon.
It's still great and you should definitely play it.How does Cave Story + hold up?

Does Steam still do Spring sales and if so what monthish was the last one?

Nice.
Is 8 bit int or 16 bit float better for color in the Chronicles of Riddick pc version? Have never heard of the latter.
I'm playing the Dark Athena version, has a super bizarre performance issue where it runs at 60 fps during action but if you get close to a wall or door the framerate plummetsI think 16-bit is a wider color gamut. It should give you more color range unless it requires certain hardware to utilize it.
The first Riddick was a crazy-good port for its time.
Wow Stardew sure did well..
Better port something irrelevant.
I think XSeed likely has Tides of Destiny and Frontier Steam releases hiding under their sleeveI don't think SteamGAF would be able to handle Rune Factory if it came to Steam.
It is still to this day the greatest indie game ever madeHow does Cave Story + hold up?
Ah, Obscure, hadn't heard the name for a while... save your ammo for the last boss, and the laser gun iirc.Been playing Obscure lately and the game has a decent atmosphere, each character has an unique ability to them and its kinda challenging mostly because it has that awkward combat system old survival horror games had plus a dumbass AI controlled partner that may get in the way while you attack monsters or would waste ammo quickly if you give em a weapon a la Sheva. Also what up with no widescreen option when the original version had that?
Holy shit fuck yeah!
Both should still release on steamEven if that were the case it would still sell many more units than Wild Guns.

Maaaaan that's a lot of characters compared to the first lol.
Is this the latest release? Maybe I should get back into it.
Yeah, now Rune Factory Frontier on the other hand...

Wild Guns is better than Harvest Moon though.

Seems like MS are all in Steam boat with this game, maybe they testing waters for future titles? Definitely going to buy it then
Wild Guns is better than Harvest Moon though.
Nice.
