As per the new setup, I have been playing multiple games that have an AA solution called FXAA. Being a newcomer to AA solutions, I thought I would try it out.
FXAA is hot garbage and I loathe it with every fiber in my being. I would rather play my games with no AA than with FXAA. It's like vaseline smeared all over my screen.

I wish more developers supported SMAA in addition to/in lieu of FXAA. The performance penalty is virtually identical and it has the added benefit of no discernible loss of finer texture detail.

I really wish Final Fantasy 14 had something other than FXAA... I can downsample it but then I lose quite a bit of FPS in spots and the HUD looks gross.

For FFXIV? I have an Nvidia card and it only gives me the FXAA option as well.

Playing through the Bioshock series backwards. Played Bioshock Infinite and liked it. I actually had played about 2 hours of Bioshock before, and I was pretty shocked at how different Infinite played. Not nearly as hard as I remembered Bioshock being, much more run and gun type of a game. Still, I enjoyed it. Made me want to play Bioshock, so I started it. Which gets me to my point - the port is pretty bad.
It's not TERRIBLE, but the sound didn't work at first (I'm using Windows 8, don't know if that matters). I had to plug my headphones into my microphone port for it to work. Then the sound was cutting out. It was like only one sound could play at a time. I found a work around for that, but there is still the issue of the physics. It seems the animations are locked to 30 FPS. It's pretty distracting, especially when you have one of those drones following you around, going at half the framerate.
I know this isn't news, but it's such a shame when such great, noteworthy games gets such bad ports to PC.

Arright, I'll have to test it when there isn't maintenance going on. I would think even 2x MSAA with transparency AA would look better than the in-game solution.
