It's been a while since I played a build, but it's an interesting turn-based stealth game.
The focus is on moving quickly, because the longer you wait, the more alert the enemies are.
Get in with your team, get the <something> for that level, get out.

I just played Depression Quest on Steam, and had actually forgotten until boot up I had played this game years before. The interesting thing is I can only now recall my experience playing it and how different the 2 playthroughs were.
Some IRL stuff here, but about 2 years ago I went through a bout of depression and playing this game I picked the choices that felt natural to me, and I failed miserably; the girlfriend left, hated the job, wasn't seeking therapy, mother was frustrated, whole thing.
Yet playing it today, it's a complete flip, all the scenarios went great just picking the options I felt like I would go for. I know many people won't get much out of a game like this, but I just really appreciated having that moment of introspection in seeing how far things have progressed for myself personally.

It sounds good indeed and I intend to purchase it someday; for one thing you say that puzzles are good whereas the same thing maybe cannot be said of "The cat lady", on the other hand I loved the soundtrack and the visual style of the latter and reading your impressions I gather this one is not as good in these regards.

Sonic 2 maybe, but I own Sonic 1 3D on the 3DS and that 'remake' is so good that I don't need anything else.
Nice, I already own S1 but at 50% off it's a highly recommended purchase for pinball fan, Russian price or not.

For anyone who bought the GOG Remute's Retro Rampage bundle, are GOG keys NOT showing up for you for Mega Race 2? I contacted them already, but just wondering.
I never bothered to play it, but it is region-free.

The GOG key for Mega Race activates both titles.
I would pay like $15 each and I don't even really like Sonic. I think what Christian Whitehead did, and what Sega allowed him to do, with those games is an incredible achievement and something other publishers should be looking at with an eye toward preservation. I'd throw money at that concept all day long.

The first game is just as good, if not better. It might be nostalgia talking though, I haven't played any of the games in a long time. Both are great games.
The first game might feel a bit dated to the second game, at least in the graphics department. The first game has fixed camera angles, while the second game has some larger areas with free camera.
I have them as well on PS3, Vita and PS4, as well as some tables on Android, Ouya and iPhone. Might get them on Steam if I get a good deal.

play as Super Sonic and I believe you can play as Tails and Knuckles in it too

Of course (not that I can name any examples off the top of my head). It's just one person's opinion, after all.

For me it's Mysterious Cities of Gold, Consortium and Meltdown. Not sure about this one, I'll wait for the bonus unlocks.
John Walker and adventure games. Not a very happy relationship so I'll take his opinions less seriously than usual but 'a very dismissive PC port' makes me worried.

Yeah those ports were really amazing. Didn't the Sonic 2 port also have a part of an old incomplete level in it also that you could find as a secret? Playing as Knuckles in Sonic 1 was so awesome lol
