OH that reminds me, I do have a Wii U pro controller lying around somewhere, I just gotta figure out how to get it working now on my PC like the DS4 haha. I've been thinking about replacing my DS4 sticks with the xbox one sticks, but I'm not sure yet. I'm worried that if I sent my DS4 and it gets new sticks that those ones are gonna eventually tear like these ones.
Yeah I'm gonna try to compile a mini list at some point tonight, but it's gonna take awhile since I wanna write little mini impressions for each game as well, plus I have to look up my playtimes for each game. I know I'm probably hovering in the high 20's somewhere, which isn't too bad.

So I finished Dawnguard on my lost save a few days ago, thought I'd share my impressions of said Skyrim expansion: overall it was OK. I really like some of the new locations the expansion added. The new tilesets are pretty neat (slightly spoilerish so I'm not gonna get into detail), the artistic design of the new areas are quite striking and sometimes genuinely beautiful. The only thing I didn't like about the new areas is that it took me 4ish hours to finally get to them. There is quite a lot of recycling old areas and it kinda sucks. The storyline is... kinda bland imo. I really like the beginning where your just meeting the new characters, building up your forces, and preparing for the inevitable showdown with the big bad. Only problem is the stakes go too high and it devolves into a 'save the world story', and I am SO tired of that in media. It felt like a storyline that could've been WAY more interesting if it had better direction and competent writing, since there are some genuinely interesting story threads that fall by the wayside. Story aside, there were some interesting tidbits of lore that I enjoyed learning about (the backstory of the falmer, history of both vampires and dawnguard), so it has some value if your into TES lore like me. With that said, in regards to new gameplay stuff, the new armor, weapons, and companions are pretty awesome (ARMORED BATTLE TROLLS). I dunno, overall I think it's DECENT but dissapointing.

I backed it, but i think since its taken so long people havent followed it. I think when it actually releases fully and they get some trailers out there people will take interest again, as long as it isnt a disaster.

Well yeah, I hear you. I backed Wasteland 2 at the minimum level to get the game upon full release. They gave me the beta anyway. I put a few hours into it and liked it, but then decided I'd shelve it until it released fully. If you backed Dead State, I can understand your excitement. Myself, I can wait for a full release and hear some reviews.

I think that makes six people that post in steamgaf part of the hall now.
Backloggery is useful for keeping track of games in your backlog, or just collection in general. Playfire is useful for keeping track of exact times for PC games, since Steam just rounds the times. The 3DS has the Activity Log feature built in. I use a stop watch feature in an old itouch to keep track of times for systems that don't do it automatically, like the GBA.
You're making the best mistake.
I managed to update my 52 games challenge post yesterday, and turns out my guess of about 20 games was right on the money.

. Also Phoenix I forgot about using my DS3 also, but I'm not a big fan of the sticks on that either :-/. Hopefully I can get used to playing Dark Souls on the Wii U Pro, but it's gonna feel way different.

I played with a 360 pad until my wireless receiver died. (Crappy MS hardware) Then I switched to DS3. I really need want to try the Wii U Pro controller, that looks like it could be my favorite controller.
Played a few levels of STFU last night and really enjoyed it. Right up my alley. Unfortunately I just bought a PS4 and it has taken my attention away from my Steam library. Been playing a lot of PvZ with the guys and almost finished Infamous Second Son. At least it's slowed me down for buying more PC games....I guess that's a positive.

If it's a 3-4 hour campaign, I don't see whynot.
It took 2-3 hours to slog through Brothers. It took 10 minutes, max, to hold up and complete The Plan. Why would I not count the 3+ hours I spent on A:CM:SI? It's new story, new levels, etc. Considering the amount of time it took me to 100% the Muramasa DLC? I'm counting that too.
What could PS4 possibly have to cause you to buy one at this point in time, let alone have it distract you from your Steam library?

It was $399AUD delivered. I always intended on getting one within the next year or so and since it's pretty unlikely the RRP is going to be that low for a while I thought I might as well. I already had a Vita so the whole remoteplay (which works way better than I expected) and cross buy things came into the equation as well. As for games, getting my open world fix with some Infamous Second Son and I got talked into buying Plants vs Zombies: Garden Warfare which turned out to be a damn good shooter....so yeah....I'm sure the new console sheen will wear off eventually but right now its a big distraction.

I promise my time of Lethal League plugging is almost over, but man the emoticons for the game are really solid. Then again, i really like crafting badges and getting emotes. Backgrounds not so much, but rarely are any of those actually worth anything, so i never sell them anyways.

I mocked the very idea of that game when it was announced. Who knew how great a game it would've turned out to be?
It's just a really fun, accessible, well designed game. Graphics are great, the various game modes are great and there's a tonne of content there. Not much more to say really.
