Ehh that's just like peace walker. The side stuff allows you to obtain better vehicles, equipment, soldiers and manuals. Makes the storyline easier, and some of the missions are a bitch to beat if you want an S grade.

Also monster hunter missions and Paz date

The GZ side missions really don't offer anything aside from. If you do good you can play it ina different style,

Yeah, the thing with the way i play a Metal Gear game (and i think this goes for most MG fans, really) is that im just there to see the craziness in the main game and to see what the hell Kojima did to the metal gear storyline this time around. I've never played any of the bonus stuff for MG games (like Snake Tales or the VR missions post-MGS1) and i imagine that a lot of people who played GZ kinda did the same thing i did and just tossed it aside as soon as they finished the main story mission. so stuffing the game with side stuff just seemed like a good excuse to justify the initial $40 price point they had with the game, which was and still remains a ridiculous thing to have asked for for so little content.

Yeah that's how I play my MGS as well and when you realize 90% of GZ is shown in the trailers it really is just a play it and you're done kind of thing.

Is there a reason I have RACE 07: Andy Priaulx Crowne Plaza Raceway in my game library, even though it's listed as Free DLC, is not a full game on it's own, and only says it has 0 MB for a download?

To get my socom fix, I have counter strike global offensive with the socom go mod. Check some YouTube vids out of it. Really brings back the old days of socom and the room is usually crowded with people.

Hmm, I can't get much into Counter-Strike: Global Offensive, and the videos didn't do much for me. I guess I'm looking for something more military/tactical-like.

Errr my new rig is up and running and I launched CS:GO to try it out (4690K and 970).

FPS's at everything high is 300 steady but I get these HUUUUUGE input lag/frame stuttering spikes that last for fractions of seconds to even a second, rendering the game un playable. I am installing other games right now but there's a large thread in here:

Anyone having these kinds of problems? My temps are in the low 50's at max.

edit: Dark Souls doesn't have these problems, running at solid 60 with all settings high

You are just lucky (in this case anyway) to live in tier 2 euro country. It's 40 euros here on Steam, with 10% discount applied on it making it 36 euros. Or in other words, I'm waiting until it's like 90% off because of bullshit tier 1 pricing and region locking.

Purchases from EU 2 are region free so you can aks someone on that region to get it for you.

It's about 8AM December 11th here in Japan, 19 hours would make it 3AM December 12th. I suppose it makes sense that it unlocks using some American time zone. I am not from the future though.
