Hmm, I've noticed that a lot of Nvidia folders are taking up a fair bit of space. What's the safest way to go about cleaning it out without deleting anything I shouldn't?

The driver folders in C:\Nvidia? You can delete those outright.

I usually sort folders in Installer2 folder by name and i am looking for folders with same name and then delete older ones. I did this already twice without any issues but i can't confirm that it is safe to do it.

it's funny. at my first sale in summer i too bought willy-nilly but now? only bought gifts so far and i don't even feel bad.
maybe it's because of russia-block though.

As a "Steam Sale Veteran" I would have definitely gotten a few games that were on sale if they were available cheaper from Russians. At this point I have so many games that it just doesn't make sense to spend 10€+ on games that I'll either never play or might not enjoy as much as games I already have.
I guess it's good for my wallet (but it's all Steam wallet money anyway), but on the other hand hunting for the really cheap traders and bargains was always a big part of what made these sales enjoyable for me. :/
I'm not sure how this change will affect my Steam spending overall, but so far it looks like I will just spend most of my money somewhere else instead.

yeah, feel the exact same.
even games now during sale don't tempt me at cheap prices. i got used to russian prices and now only really cheap games or bundles get me.
the tactic blew in steam's face - for me. i ain't magically spending more money. quite the opposite. i spend way less now. they only loose money from me this way.

Aww, I blocked so many good people. Ok, but this can be a good thing. Here's the list. I already sorted some out. Help me to clean the list of everyone cool. Then we can get a list out of it that can help to reject people who are not part of the community if anyone has the need for it for whatever reason.

A little late on this but aww, I'm on the list.

I already left a small message on my Activity feed for the people on my friends list a couple of hours ago but might as well leave something similar in here.

I honestly hope that everyone can have a good day weather you are celebrating the Holiday/Christmas season or not. Hope you can all have a hot meal, some memories to share and I hope you can be with your loved ones from family members, lovers and close friends. SteamGAF has been a house for me for quite some time. It's a great place to discuss a lot of themes regarding this hobby of ours and I feel quite lucky to have you all every time I decide to talk about a certain game. For the last years I've met some incredible people, many with different ways of thinking or even different ways of engaging life. It's funny, because while I don't exactly know you all I... feel I know quite a few members, more than the name or the avatar and this is what the community is all about.

I'm not going to lie, I felt a bit emotional when time was not kind to me and I had to be away from SteamGAF (and GAF in general) and when I got some time it felt very warm to the heart to see the same friendly "faces" I've met along this years saying "welcome". This is a great community and I truly respect every GAFfer. I just wanted to thank you all for all the help, the kindness, the conversations about everything. I hope I helped you out when you were in need of help, I hope you can forgive me if I let you down somehow, I hope you don't hate me simply because you don't like me or the way I talk. I am incredibly lucky because all those years I learned what really, really matters in life, just like the people I live everyday, my lovers, my friends, my family, you all also made a positive impact on my life, for good. I thank you all for your patience and friendship, for all the laugh and silly moments. There's so many different people in here, yet, I feel most of us learned something from each other. I know this might sound really lame for many, others will simply put me on ignore but I have never given up on building a better community, on having a place that is friendly and can welcome anyone because that is what really matters in here, to have fun and respect each other. Yeah, it's every generstion the same as people praise how almost real life everything looks. Everything's photorealistic. I wonder when we are truly at the peak where it just looks and moves like real life, where peoplr can simulate humans without anyone able to tell if it is real or not.

It holds up better over time though.

Looking at Xbox DOA2 and DOA3 they still look great. The deviation from attempted photorealism and the cartoon looks stops them feeling dated.

I doubt DOA5 will hold up next to DOA6 now they're reaching for photorealism.

The stages of DOA2 and 3 look great but the characters aged terribly. DOA5 characters will look superior to previous versions despite the newer games.

EDIT: I remember GAF reaction to DOA4 reveal shitting on the graphics lol.
