I'm watching some more Spintires videos at the moment, and the urge to buy this game is getting stronger and stronger... I don't even know why exactly...but it looks like so much fun :P

And I would be a really sad panda if No Mans Sky isn't coming to PC, very much looking forward to that one... but as other people already said, I bet it will be a PS4 timed exclusive

Steam marketplace is the safer option. Just to go the steam community market and buy keys. Its the more expensive but safer option.

External sites have 10 keys for 20 usd, so its cheaper. But its possible you'll get ripped off. It also relies on a rep system, so if you have no rep, people might not even want to trade with you.

I finished Wolfenstein: The New Order. The difficulty really picked up towards the end! Played on the second hardest difficulty whatever was. Overall I really enjoyed it. Probably one of my favorite games so far this year.

+ Amazing gameplay. Shooting in this game is just so much fun. All the guns are suited for completely different type of engaging.
+ MachineGames really nailed the world creation. Rich environment and very diverse locations to play in.
+ Just the right lenght.
+ Soundtrack works.

- Horrible pacing from time to time. They make you do too much tedious stuff around the middle.
- id Tech is still kind of poop. Has some weird issues with textures not loading properly.

Overall it's a game I'll probably come back to. Recommended to everyone unless you absolutely hate FPS's.

I get the feeling it's more of a business decision why there's no formal announcement of a PC version. Look at it this way Hello Games are actively engaging with one of the most prominent PC only gaming sites in RPS.

To be fair the reason it's being talked about so much now is that it stole the show at VGX last year and then was fresh in the memory because it stared in Sony's conference at E3 where the vast majority of it bored me to tears (that guy banging on about sales figure and Powers really should take a long hard look in the mirror, even if he did work on Vib Ribbon). I doubt it would nearly have the same exposure without being under Sony's wing, I mean look at Transistor. Despite coming out day and date on both PS4 and PC quite a few people even on these boards didn't know about it being on Steam. Of course don't mention it mind or you'll be labeled as a Steam shill. Not that the legions of beenie, Cerny and Kaz avatars are in anyway championing "your" platform :p

This timed exclusive bullshit needs to stop.

Oh well, at least Sony thinks the PC is enough of a threat to do it in the first place.

EDIT: After reading up more on the sources, maybe Hello Games really are just overworked and can't fully handle a close release of the PS4 and PC versions.

How do the russians convert the keys back into money? Do people actually buy the keys to use them? Or are they selling the keys to people buying keys to trade for games and then repeating?

Or maybe Hello Games and Sony still have a very close friendship due to the Joe Danger games and worked out a deal?

This is one of those things I've thought about, but decided not to put too much thought into it as I'm sure there's a way this all works for them.

Call me the curious type, but I'm wondering what sort of trap it is. But I'm one of those people who will think something bad and tell myself not to say it, but then tell others I thought something bad and have to tell it to them anyways.
 
being random here.
my whole batch is graduating today (they are commencing right now as I type). I'm getting strange feels (so included yet excluded at the same time)

I'm not graduating with them haha taking an extra semester (thus will only graduate next year)... due to reasons. haha feels weird.. not being in a gown, taking photos rather than being taken tonight.

It can be a lonely haul, I'd imagine. Back in High School I was close to this, I was over the number of credits needed, but one needed credit I had taken the class for twice and failed (one of my worst subjects), and I had to rush an online class for the credit in a week before graduation. Barely made it.

Still, know that these trips and differences are part of the roads life takes, and honestly while I'm sure a lot of feelings are out and about due to both the occasion and the situation, know that it's all the same a memory, and not a wholly good or bad one. A grey area, and in the long-wrong, its sometimes these grey areas we remember with clarity years later and can help us make important decisions that can shape out our lives.

To me, these things add extra 'texture' to people, and make for interesting stories down the line.

It's foreign, not weird~ I wish you luck in finding a job!
 
In other depressing news, any takers to bet what disappointment will Humble provide today? No new gaming bundle? Mobile only? Origin bundle rerun with no Steam keys this time?

That's a little bit of a bummer, but it could be worse. You could walk with everyone only to find out later you didn't graduate and need to stay another semester.

What irked me about that sequence of events is that TCR completely discarded the idea of crowdfunding. If the studio had attempted a Kickstarter run (or whatever) but failed to the meet the goal, then I'd say there would have been a much less vitriolic reaction to the news of PS4 exclusivity.
