Finished up Metro 2033. Been playing it all week and got it complete just under 9hrs.
Kind of disappointed in myself for letting this sit in my backlog for so many years. But I guess that's just how it is sometimes. The Exodus trailer reminded me of it and pushed me to finally playing it. Anyways the game is really good. The atmosphere and visuals were a masterpiece. The storytelling and pacing was very good too despite having a weird ending...kinda. Also
fuck that portion near the end with the eggs coming out of those things and blowing up or wtvr. Shit was infuriating.

As someone who very much appreciates and enjoys the luck he's been having with raffles, I really think Modbot needs an option to exclude people who have won raffles for some period of time longer than a day. Without putting too much thought into this, I think a month since winning a raffle would make sense for some of the bigger giveaways. Feel free to point out the flaws in this.

There is -- there's a NOWINNERSWEEKLY and a NOWINNERSMONTHLY rule. I have a very hands off approach to encouraging or forcing people to use any rules, but they're there! When ModBot was super new and the number of giveaways was frankly bananas, thanks in large part due to cheap Russian key options, there were periods where basically everyone active in the thread was not eligible for some of the giveaways using NOWINNERSMONTHLY. Haha!

So Apparently that Street Fighter Collection is likely/might be coming to PC according to a tweet.
IMHO, the toughest of the original 6 stages is Blad's. But it is made easier long as you know when to move and when to attack. I think this stage benefits the most from Manual Installs as you should max out Speed and Wing first before upgrading your weapons.
Note that each of the main stages have 2 upgrade gems, and you can use a guide to find them. You don't need any special weapon etc. to get these gems so as long as you know where they are you can just grab them to make life a little easier for you.
The 7th stage is only hard at the start, but after clearing the first 1/3 of that stage, it becomes easier.

MGSV is such a cruel and funny games at times. I stopped D-Horse in the middle of a road to intercept a car, which worked well a couple of times before, but this time the driver of the car managed to overlook this bright white horse standing on the road and ran right into it. For a second I thought I got D-Horse killed but while the impact stunned all the occupants of the car D-Horse just stood up and shrugged it off ... .

Haha, I remember a similar incident with a supply drop. I parked him directly under where it was going to land and when it hit him I thought I had killed him and felt so bad. I was relieved when he regained consciousness and they didn't just send another horse or something.

It is possible to apply that rebalance since you can use the OG sprites in the HD Remix release.
However, the actual HD Remix rebalance wasn't very appreciated. It's been 5+ years since HD Remix released, but OG Super Turbo is the go to game still even after all these years.
So Konami updated MGSV but:
-the game still uses Denuvo
-no proper anti-cheat system or VAC integration
-no option to buy the console DLC, you can get it only by purchasing the whole DE on Steam.
I agree, but I think it turns too hard after the middle part, some puzzles are just too obtuse in my opinion.

Weapons and skin. Buyers of the DE got a bundle of all those contents, it's an hidden DLC tab you can find on Steam DB.
Owners of MGSV+GZ never got the dlc, after a lot of people argued about the impossibility to purchase the dlc bundle, Konami gave PC players the opportunity to buy again the DE version of the game for full price in order to get this dlc.
Also happy bday Maxwood and Punch.

Dark Souls III is soooo good.
I was so lttp to the Souls series so I bought pretty much everything on sale. I started DS in 2016 and I've been playing the rest including Bloodborne, DSII, and DSIII until now in a span of 1+ year. No genre fatigue at all! I'm definitely going to get the next Souls game day 1. The franchise deserves it.

Playing a bunch of games in 4K.
Resident Evil 4 still looks good. Holds up well at 4K. I still love that game.
Holy dear god The Witcher 3 in 4K is just astonishing. Lowered to medium, still holy shit pretty.
Happy to see even my gimped 1060 3 GB model can still play almost every game I have at 4K.

Serious Sam is a wicked gahbidge series for chowdaheads.
Only Serious Sam game I've committed to is 4, if that ever comes out, and it'll be a charity stream.
Been paying for a while, actually. My credit ran out in October 2015, where I had to pay a portion of it.
