Eventually I did it in PPT and when they weren't looking at me I just started coding it because mental health.
I still can't fathom how people could walk straight up to you and say "make me a report using excel".

Quick impressions:
I won "Ted By Dawn" from Goldie Hawn's significant other, Kurt Russell, and I have to say, it's pretty good so far.
As you can tell, it uses the pixel art style. The graphics look good (for what it's trying to do), and the controls are solid and smooth.
The gameplay itself is a mixture of action, shooting, and platforming. There are a million ways to die, and seemingly a million more achievements.
It doesn't seem to take itself too seriously overall.

So what is the next big release anyway? I'm drawing blanks for July and August.
I'm sure it's been this way for a while but I'm just noticing that after an extended period of not playing a game (seems to be about a year), the Steam library reverts to showing "Game Purchased:" date rather than "Last Played:" date. Is there any way to revert it back to showing the last played date for all games?

Basically have to replay through half of Wolfenstein '09 now because their testing was kind of shit. For every shield door in the game that you need Empower to through you can also use the slow time ability as well, so long as you have the AoE purchased from the black market. You can use slow time to get past every shield door in the game except for the final door in what's pretty much the final level of the game. My only recourse was to reload an older save file, replay that level and make sure I grab the red crystal. It wasn't even obvious when I knew what I was looking for and I could see why I walked right past it.
Dunno if I can go through all of these levels again right away. Going to take a break from WOlf '09 and play through Return to Castle Wolfenstein.

I started playing the free game Eternal Senia. For being such a simple game (move room by room, touch monsters to attack them) it's quite nice. If I had to find a con, is that it uses the analog sticks of the gamepad instead of dpad for movement. I still don't understand why 2D games do this and I'll probably never understand it.

I gotta say as sad as this whole Batman Arkham Knight PC port situation is. The batsuit in this game is amazing. Loved everything about it. Definitely in my top 5 favorite batsuits of all time.

I don't even want to use the other skins.And despite the hate the Batmobile gets, people need to take a moment to really zoom in and appreciate the design itself. I zoomed in and examined it from every angle, its such a beast. You can tell a lot of work went into the design and it looks awesome.. And that's before the tank morph!

On that note, Momodora III is a fun little platformer. It's a tad short, but it's a cute, neat little game. Think something like Cave Story Lite.

Original Alternative is pretty good but is tied to some a really mediocre back story for build up (Muv-Luv Extra/Unlimited) for it to be effective the Alternative spin-offs I heard weren't that great.
I've actually seen people who seriously love all three games.
As with most VNs, generally the anime is not a good representation of the game. More often than not the anime adaptation is made just as a quick cash grab. Yes there are exceptions such as Key games and Steins;Gate, but they're definitely in the minority.

It's completely unnecessary and it's likely the Steam versions would be based on the widescreen upgraded version which had it removed.

That's only partially correct.
It's a continuous story and is less effective without having read Extra/Unlimited and Alternative starts off right after Unlimited.
There's a Windows backport of the 360 versions, that retains the H scenes, although it removes the new openings from the 360 version.
Alternative is like an episode 2. You wouldn't know the characters he meets without their introduction from the first.
