You don't have to play it.
Tunnelbear VPN is not free anymore.
WHAT SHOULD I USE NOW???
1) Download and install F-Secure Freedome (no hard limits, but the trial period expires after five days), FlyVPN (20-minute session limit), TunnelBear (500MB data limit), VPN Gate (no hard limits) or VyprVPN (no hard limits, but remember to cancel within 72 hours).
This worked.
So I think this question has been asked bazillion times in this thread alone, but what's the right order to play Ys games that are on Steam?
there really isn't one other than playing II after I and maybe Origin after those twoSo I think this question has been asked bazillion times in this thread alone, but what's the right order to play Ys games that are on Steam?
👍👍
Lacrimosa of Dana actually takes place between V and VIChronologically:
Origins -> I -> II -> Felghana -> Napishtim -> Lacrimosa (not out yet)
I've played them these way, but you can play Origins after Napishtim if you want to play them as they we're released.
Chronologically:
Origins -> I -> II -> Felghana -> Napishtim -> Lacrimosa
Why the fuck is it numbered VIII then?Lacrimosa of Dana actually takes place between V and VI

Why does MGS5 take place before MGS4?

It's all fun and games until you're Kingdom Hearts.
I endorse this messageMGSV is the mother of all stealth games. The gameplay is so good you won't experience anything as polished, fun and as brilliant again for decades. Its a masterpiece.
And @ that price its insane value. There is so much content in that game its not even funny.
Because it was released after Ys SevenWhy the fuck is it numbered VIII then?
Because it was released after Ys Seven
Ys IV/Celceta also takes place before Ys III/Felghana so nothing particularly new!
so who's making the Morrowind OT? Release is June 6th but pre-orders can start playing May 22nd (tomorow) so it should be up now no?
Probably no one volunteered to make one, or they're running late, or they think to put it up on like June 4th.
If the game is already playable because of early access for preorders and you feel like making one, I'd say go ahead and create a thread for it.

I mean the Ys series isn't exactly known for its story and I wouldn't play them in order of story anyways. Playing Napishtim was hard after beating Felghana since Napishtim was made before Felghana and is a rough version of that gameplay style. I know Felghana was a remake of Ys III but yeah, these games should be played in order of gameplay progression.
Thanks buds.
Gameplay progression makes sense to me.
Would that be I - II - Origin - Napishtim - Felghana?
Origin and Felghana after Napishtim. Napishtim was the first attempt at that 3D style of combat and just the weaker one overall of those. It's up to you which of those two you wanna play after, they're both really good and one game wont ruin the experience of another.
I know this is for Origin but figured you guys might like to know possibly. ME Trilogy on Origin is $5.19 right now on cdkeys.com. Posted it also in the ME thread but wanted to post here as well since I don't think it's worthy of a topic. Not sure I've seen it for cheaper.
Renowned Explorers is the daily deal on Steam today.
The reason it caught my attention is because it was discounted about 10 days ago when the new DLC released.
That new DLC that released 10 days ago is also 50% off in this daily deal.
That seems weird. It either sold like shit or this is a price mistake. I thought it might be a precursor to being in a Humble Monthly but that already happened last year.
Just thought I'd mention it in case anyone was interested.
It's the only one of the core MGS titles (1-5, PW) that I haven't been able to complete. Put a good amount of hours but eventually I petered off of it even with a co-op partner. The boss fights are especially bad. He's right, though. Peace Walker really isn't worth anyone's time at this point. Its story is entirely skippable and overall it's just not good enough to put up with all of its issues.
I wish I could forget about MGSV.eww you guys reminded me that MGSV exists.
How does it change the HUD?
I turned off all the in-game stuff for full immersion, but I think it was too much, I'm still waiting for an ideal way of playing the game, I'd love to hear about your (and others') thoughts re mods and HUD (I've read the books bar the last one and I had the game pre-ordered at $48)

It was a mistake and their other game, Reus, was supposed to be the daily deal.

I use standard configuration. No HUD at all while you are exploring, you can see minimap when you activate Witcher Sense and during combat health bar and consumables are on screen. Also during Witcher Sense you can have 3D marker that shows where is your next objective.
Think they will correct it?
Perhaps you may have noticed that RE:IS is currently in a Daily Deal along with all its DLC right after the DLC release promotions. The front page always helps this game grow more succesful, which is something we all want, but in this case the discounts were a mistake that is hard to roll back... oops! The stinging part is that the DLC is actually in a deeper discount than with The Emperor's Challenge release. We realize this isn't great news if you just bought the new DLC. Please know that this discount is a mistake and we weren't out to hurt your trust. All we can do now is be transparent. This is the situation:
Our first game, Reus actually got a long-awaited update just now and we coordinated to have it discounted as a Daily Deal right now. But somewhere along the way RE:IS got discounted instead of Reus (might have to do with these names...). Since we can't cancel a discount without help from Valve the current pricing will probably last until somewhere on Monday. We asked for the DLC discounts to be cancelled at the earliest possibility.
Don't feel bad for acting on the current discount. It's there if you want it and welcoming new fans is always a good thing! This message is just because we want loyal fans to know that we weren't intending to drop this discount on you.
This sounds more like a Valve mistake than a dev mistake tbh.It seems so, but they can't until business hours for Valve on Monday.
You'd Never Believe The Discount Mistake These Devs Made

Wait what? What Morrowind? Is it a remastered version? I never saw the news before.
Also is MGS V in monthly or just sales?
