[Steam] METAL GEAR SOLID V: GROUND ZEROES releasing at 10AM PST on 12/18 - $19.99

@JunkerHQNet:
Kojima Productions has announced Ground Zeroes PC will be released worldwide at 10:00AM U.S. PST on 12/18

Price is 2,362 yen plus tax, if anyone would like to convert (should be roughly $25, but don't take that as 100% fact) -- though it will arrive during the winter sale, so we'll almost certainly get it at a discount.

Hey I can't find an answer anywhere but I'm just wondering if this has Deja Vu and Jamais Vu missions? The MGS1 and Raiden bonuses that were previously console exclusives? It's a tiny stupid thing but it'd be nice to have an hour or two more play time.

It's still way cheaper than the console version, right?

Cheaper than what that launched, yes. They had the gall of charing $40 at launch. Or was it $30? Either way, both prices were absurd.

The PS4 version of Ground Zeroes is now $10 on Amazon.

I was thinking of buying the HD collection on PS3 since it's only about £8 atm but there's a chance they'll bring the collection to Steam. In fact I wouldn't be surprised to see it coming before MGSV.

The price is that 'high' because of the discount that will be coming with it. Launching when the sale starts pretty much confirms it's going to be apart of the Day One daily deals like Rising was. Rising was pretty much top of Top Sellers for the duration of the sale, it wouldn't surprise me if Ground Zeroes dominated this sale too.

Its ridiculous the price is $25. Its should be no more than $10-15 if that much.

It's $20, which is the RRP of the console versions. At such a price point you can't expect the "console tax" to be taken off the top, but it's worth noting that the game is releasing the moment the Winter Sale begins, so it being among the first Daily Deals is a distinct possibility.

So glad Phantom Pain is already coming to PC so I don't have to buy this at launch price to show support. I rented it originally and then bought the XB1 and PS4 version both in the last week for like $17 combined.

It does look like a nice visual upgrade, but at this point it really should have been $15 max.

I think it's a little bit weird that they did no preorders...

It would have been a nice way to measure demand for the title. Hitting during the sale with possibly 25 or 33% will be awesome too though.

I still have pretty high hopes for a deep discount during the sale, even if it is only for one or two days.

That is what suggests a possible big discount, or at least one higher than what is seen at preorder.

Makes sense to me. Hopefully it does to Konami too :p

If I ever post something in Japanese which I don't understand, please BAN me.
That just means that they're revealing a new image everyday until this game's release.

bu...but what about the big present in the background with the "!" on it? :/

Also all those screenshots they "reveal" are old as shit.

They're not going to piss off day one buyers by doing a heavy discount within a week or so of being released, especially given that people are more willing to spend money this time of year. It'll be this price for a bit.

Greenmangaming, please!

I'll take a guess that it will be discounted on Steam on launch day and the encore day, but GmG will do their own discount in between. That seemed to be the tactic they took during the Autumn sale. I think I bought more from GmG than Steam for the first time!

They did it with MGR. Pre-order discount and Holiday sale discount on top of that. When the game launched in January, they put a discount on again.
