The Steam equivalent of the drunk friend who keeps offering to pay your tab all night.
So if Munch got the PC version since he was talking about vsync we should get some steamgaf lobbies going since I know nabs has it aswell at least. Tizoc too I think?

Really unfortunate we don't have anything like ps plus on pc.

Thanks gfwl haters

How many games do you get from ps plus every year?
You could probably get the same amount of games from Humble bundles, excluding Monthlies.

My gf picked up a laptop yesterday and wants to play a few of my Steam games (mainly Stardew Valley)

How exactly does the whole account sharing work, does she need her own login or can she use mine?

Will her time played stats and Steam achievements merge with mine or be separate to her? (I hope that makes sense but I can't think of a more elegant way to word it)

You can login with your account on her laptop, activate family sharing, log out and then log in with her account and she should see all your games.

She has playtime and achievements, but while she is playing, you cant.

It's more like while he is playing, she can't. The sharing account has the playing priority. Meaning, if she is playing and he starts to play she will have a few minutes to play before the game shuts down

Besides graph introduction on store pages, I have just realised there's a small change on the top right area of store pages.

Less than a month to go, and The Good Life campaign is still 16%.
I'd be honest here, even if Deadly Premonitions is one of my favourite game of all time and I loved D4, I have still so many doubts about The Good Life. It seems interesting from one side, but there's something I'm not too confident with. I can't tell what.

Does the sharing account holder have to be online? What if the sharing account holder plays something in offline mode?

Thanks (to you and to everyone who replied)

Is family sharing just a toggle in settings?

I'll try this when I get home tonight

Oh rock of ages, do not crumble, love is breathing still. Oh lady moon shine down, a little people magic if you will.
The Tomb Raider trailer just dropped. Looks like a bad cheesy action flick, but Walton Goggins might be fun in it.

That Trailer makes the film look even worse then those terrible Tomb Raider films with Angelina Jolie.
Looking forward to it.

I'm sorry if this has been posted but I have just discovered there's a new on-demand video game service subscription, available on https://playonjump.com/ . It seems there's a free trial (14 days).

I'm not sure whether this new service might be worthwhile. Time will tell, I assume.

Seems kinda nice, but the pricing is a bit expensive. It costs 10 dollars/month. They add 6-10 each month. But the games only stay for at least 12 months. They seem to only have indie titles.

Add 2 dollar more each month and you can buy one Humble Monthly and get 6-7 games which you keep forever. Or 2-3 second tier Humble bundles, which would be around 10-15 games per month

Seems like the perfect service for the PS fanboys on GAF.

Moreover you also have access to the Humble Trove when you have a Monthly subscription.

Wow and with online multiplayer support! Goal 3 and priceless basketball (never learned their names, they are known like this in here, lol) game also there! This is going to be so much fun, finally they did it. But i wish they add more playable team for Goal 3, in cup mode there is so much extra team but not for multiplayer. :/

Remember the no Steam key for Tiny Echo for Humble Monthly purchases? And that they wanted to email them with proof of purchase to get a steam key?

That was in 20 days ago. I didn't get a Steam key after mailing them. Today I got a reply!

Hi,

Anyone who purchased the June Humble Monthly can go straight to their download page for the purchase and find the Steam key already waiting for them to claim it.

If you can't find your download page, simply visit your purchases page while logged in on the Humble Bundle website, and search "June 2017" for the link to your download page to pop up.

If you'd like to be added to our newsletter mailing list to be kept up to date on goings on from our end, simply respond to this email with a "Yes" and we'll do the rest.

Cheers,
V

Kinda late response...

Just saw on Humble profile pages. There is a redeem button next to the Steam key, which goes to the newly added activation page on Steam with the Steam key prefilled.

Apparently steam is now putting franchises in their correct chronological order: Assassin's Creed, Final Fantasy, Hitman etc...
:O Megaton.
So, no longer will LIGHTNING RETURNS: FINAL FANTASY XIII be above FINAL FANTASY XIII-2?

Next step, let me customize ordering or edit the shown names. You probably don't need a title like this in your library, for example.
They're amusing though.
Superdimension Neptune VS Sega Hard Girls | 超次元大戦ネプテューヌVSセガハードガールズ夢の合体スペシャル | 超次元大戰戰機少女VS SEGA主機娘夢幻合體特別版

If you haven't redeemed it yet, I suggest you remove the screenshot. It's pretty easy to figure out the whole serial number.

Wait, does it includes regular Kunio Kun games or only sport ones ?

It includes three of the beat'em up games:
"Downtown Nekketsu Monogatari" is "River City Ransom"/"Street Gangs" in the West on NES.
"Downtown Special: Kunio-kun no Jidaigeki da yo Zen'in Shugo!" is a sequel/spin-off first on Famicom set in medieval Japan
"Shodai Nekketsu Kouha Kunio-kun" is a Super Famicom sequel closer to Renegade.

Sadly missing: "Shin Nekketsu Kōha Kunio-kun: Kunio Tachi no Banka", the second Super Famicom game and maybe the best in the series.

More about Kunio-kun with the great article at Hardcore Gaming 101:

All things considered, what's your opinion on Tyranny?

I can't really get into it for some reason. The combat is weak (much weaker than PoE which I liked a lot) and the story beats are... weird. I mean, it looks like everything should be there for me to like, but the whole setting has a sort of "try hard" feel to it. For the record, I made it to Act II with over 20 hours played.

Simple computer program that can guess would probably get it quickly.

I wonder how many of you can create such program :D

edit: removed the code entirely

Well, it's easy to create such program. But the problem is rate limit of 10 tries per hour.

that code has easily 5 unreadable letters = 32^5. So you're looking at about 400 years to bruteforce, few others aren't clear so probably more like 1000 years.

You're going to need exploit or special knowledge of steam keys format if you want to solve that in sensible time.
