I don’t get why people feel the need to shit on an indie game that peaked at over 2M players.Palworld is gone. It was supposed to be the game that 'will show to big AAA devs what players really want'.

This will keep happening, btw. SteamDB is just fetching data through Steam's own APIs. :/Call of Duty®: Modern Warfare® III - BlackCell (Season 3) Infinity Ward
Erm...
25 million copies sold for a early access indie game that cost 6.75 mil to make? Pffffffffft. Suck it, failure game!I don’t get why people feel the need to shit on an indie game that peaked at over 2M players.

For steam, true but also irrelevant when talking about it's success.

It's very successful, but the 25M reported was players. 15M sales from Steam and 10M players from Xbox (inc. Gamepass), they didn't share sales from Xbox. For steam, true but also irrelevant when talking about it's success.
Yep, and it’s great to see these games continuing to sell.Cyberpunk 2077
Elden Ring
Baldurs gate 3
All still on the top sellers. The holy trinity of RPGs from this gen.
Helldivers 2 released 2 months ago btw.
Sony must be incredibly happy with these results.
