Steins;Gate Visual Novel getting US Release on PC

Very true, but I'd prefer an official release just so I could support the franchise [and, hopefully, get any future installments].
I know there's a fanbase here for it, although it's probably not as lucrative as those localizing would like. I know there's a lot of translation that would go into it [there's A LOT of text!], so it would likely be a massive under-taking.
Even still, if I need to fall back on the fan translation, I will. I've heard/read that it's pretty well-done, so that's definitely a positive.
I might have to dust off my launch PSP.

True, but it does explore many of the routes to some extent. But you are correct, there is much in the game that is not in the anime.

The anime is amazing, and with the multiple endings in the VN it's not as though you won't get enjoyment out of watching/viewing both.

Normally, I'm against digital-only titles since I usually like to own a physical release [for its box/manual/etc.] as well as the guarantee that it will always be there [as long as you have the system to play it, of course]. However, for Danganronpa...I DO NOT CARE! Retail or Digital, I will be there Day One to purchase it. I will show my support to its utmost, and if offered through both methods, I'd likely purchase both.
Please make it possible Aksys [or anyone really]. I am here, with my money on the table. Will you not accept it?
But I feel this is getting off-topic. Let us return to the discussion of Steins;Gate [both anime and VN] and how incredible it is.

Not as far as I am aware. I believe they ship physical products internationally and allow international digital downloads.

Yeah, I've ordered directly from JAST to Australia, no problems. Their shipping prices are a bit more expensive than Jlist, but they're much, much faster at getting orders out.
