The Dyson Zone™ is a set of noise cancelling, high fidelity over-ear headphones which simultaneously deliver immersive sound to the ears, and purified airflow to the nose and mouth. The result of over a decade of air quality research and development, the Dyson Zone™ air-purifying headphones simultaneously tackle the urban issues of air quality and noise pollution.

If only we could get rid of visual noise also and not have to move outside after that.

Honestly dumbest shit ever. Good job cancelling sound when u walk on the street, also that thing aint filtering anything for polution, her nose is completely free and there is a gab at her mouth place.

It just looks stupid and that's about it.

I saw the prototype design of this couple of years ago and asked the Dyson representative presenting it if it was an april's fool day joke (a genuine question as at the time it was late march) and he took a long pause and said "no, it's real".

so noise cancelling headphones that's meant to be worn outdoors. These things are death traps since you know people that are dumb enough to buy this will cross the street staring at their phones.

This Dyson guy has spent too much time in Singapore if he thinks this level of obsession with cleanliness and purification is normal.

Five years of development...

Was someone privvy to information the rest of us weren't? Because prior to 2020 this was utter nonsense.

Air pollution, even in the 'West' has been a massive issue for decades in urban areas and in only some places is only recently getting better.

It's been a good idea to wear some kind of filtration if you care about your long-term health if you live in an urban area, but especially if you're often out on the street, like a bike courier.

And so, well, heavy filtration masks like this being worn as everyday wear aren't new. The thing is, they already exist, look less stupid, don't try to combine themselves with headphones like some cosplaying space whore, and, you know, actually filter the air properly.

$1000 equipment for mouth breathing? I thought it was derogatory term (learned from Stranger Things)...
Perhaps in underwater conditions (scuba diving) or heavy exercise conditions, but leaving nose wide open (virus or not) is kinda weird.
Then again, they could have just made the entire face mask...

I mean...wear it in your house in your own private time...

out and about though? your surprised people are looking at you? OK.

I never condone violence but I may make an exception for a light slap to the face of anyone wearing this in public.

Honestly if more women did this it's easier for everyone else that is looking for a mate.

No matter how good looking they aren't worth the crazy if they still wear a mask.

Have you noticed how many people are wearing headphones with ANC on the street? Darwin awards everywhere.
Maybe they switched to transparency mode.

LOL. One of my old coworkers left to go to Dyson. When a bunch of would still be in contact with her back then, she laughed at how high the prices and margins were at the company compared to our company.

What's wrong with that
people are already stupidly oblivious to their surroundings, add in noise canceling and the chance of getting run over/not hearing emergencies happening/warnings being ignored substantially increases.

Stupid people ruin everything.

I like it. I'm overly sensitive to sounds yeah.

But yeah I get your point
