LMAO. Maybe next time, he'll think twice before trash-talking.
I was wholly expecting this announcement to just be a new DmC or another Dragon's Dogma. Had no idea it'd be a game I actually care about.
Christ, I hope not. The slow-down on top of the network lag just to keep my game in sync with people trying to play SF4 on their toasters is unbearable.
Oh, my...
At SFIV and SFIVAE launch on PC I remember alot of Xbox friends trolling the PC version "kajin", "unpure", "console is the original version", "it will be full of cheaters, for sure", "nobody will play it", "fuck graphics ink filters, 720p is the real deal", "blablabla".
Patt, patt for you guys, wherever you are.![]()

As Bish stated, the weekend is really going to test the NeoGaf servers. I think that speaks volumes too, honestly. :]
SFV is a pretty big deal as evidenced in the reactions in this thread. However, I can understand that not everyone is into fighting games. All the rumblings over the past few days about PSX seem to suggest there will be something for a lot of other people who aren't necessarily into SFV.
Incidentally, you also talk a lot of trash for someone who is admonishing someone for trash-talking. I really hope you at least realize that.
They've gone and done it... they've gone and woke the sleeping dragon now.
Sony should have left well enough alone and now they're going to get it. It's not enough that they're bleeding benjamins from practically every crevice of their existence. Now they go and throw immense moneyhats at a niche game like Street Fighter just to piss off the market. Why pay to keep a game out of the hands of as many gamers as possible? Why not put that money into first-party studios and games instead?
I know, I know... this is the way the business goes as they say. Well, they forced Microsoft's hands with their early sales lead and Microsoft only responded with an NPD whooping (source: musings thread) by way of incredible deals and value. Microsoft will undoubtedly follow this announcement up with some real megatons of their own.
Gears remake collection. A true Banjo sequel. Halo 5 beta in the hands of gamers. The next Bayonetta, Dead Space and Crysis as exclusives. Those are the kinds of blockbuster response announcements I expect, and then some. You hit Microsoft with a jab, you best be ready for a flurry of uppercuts coming at you in response.
LmaoWith this post alone, this thread has delivered, and then some.
So Sony moneyhat for SFV, everything is alright.
MS moneyhat for TR, shitstorm ensues.
Gotta love the hypocrites here.
More reason to care, lot of people got a taste for fighting games on the Xbox One and want one. KI3 is neat but is not SF5.

I actually love KI just as much as SF4. Double Helix did a fantastic job. I actually posted a while back in the KI thread (I think) that KI almost felt like a re skinned SF4.
But more combo heavy. But ill be glad to have my fighters this gen spread over both consoles. Last gen I only had MK on PS3 for Kratos.
Although I suspect this might be Japan PS Exclusive.
exclusives have been part of the business for a long time. If you don't want to be affected by them, buy every machine. If this is asking too much, then maybe wait and see if it comes to one of your machines. getting upset over exclusives is silly, it's part of the business.
does it kinda suck? yeah, it kinda sucks but comparing this to other exclusives is a rabbit hole that is deep and doing so helps no one, really. I'd rather live in a world where a new tomb raider and a new street fighter exists, and if these deals make that a possibility then it's an unfortunate necessity. we'll live
Tell your friends to go PC, we await them with free online!i really don't want to see this become the trend for 3rd party games. I have a PC, so I will be able to play it, but I lose out playing with my friends on Xbox if it isn't a timed exclusive. Pretty sure its going to be something similar to Tomb Raider.
I expect to hear this by the weekend or I will be disappointed!

Interesting. I'm almost certain at this point that Deus Ex Next Gen and DMC5 will both be announced. And there are actually hints at Shenmue 3 as well. I can see DMC being exclusive but I don't consider it bigger than Street Fighter. Maybe a Crash Reboot? That would be massive.![]()

Monster Hunter (3DS)
Dead Rising 3 (Xbox One & PC)
Street Fighter V (PS4 & PC)
Deep Down/Dragon's Dogma Online (PS4 & PC)
So Capcom only makes exclusives now unless it's a Resident Evil game, huh?
Would The Last Guardian be considered bigger than Street Fighter? :x Really?
Why do people think this would be Japan PS exclusive when they're showing a trailer with footage of american tourneys with english voiceover?

I don't think aging characters is ideal. It's weird when most of the roster is old, and I don't like younger characters replacing fan favorites, like in SoulCalibur V.
I can: RE2/3 RemakeI can't think of an exclusive that would be bigger (to me) than SF.
A small time jump would work. 5 years r so after SF3 means most of the cast would be in their early 50s at the oldest.I don't think aging characters is ideal. It's weird when most of the roster is old, and I don't like younger characters replacing fan favorites, like in SoulCalibur V.
So if MS buys the next Fallout or any other past multiplat that has not confirmed platforms then it is ok?
you have tomb raider....
It makes me sad thinking that if this was a Xbone exclusive, everyone would be rioting with the moneyhat and that. But it's for the PS4, so everything's OK.
Anyway, this is huge, but maybe just region/timed exclusive?
But every copy sold will need a copy of Windows to work.
lol.Least Sony did not prevent the game form going on pc, unlike another company.
What's exactly the difference, then? You could say this Ryu looks 5 years older than the SFIV oneA small time jump would work. 5 years r so after SF3 means most of the cast would be in their early 50s at the oldest.
Oh please do share so we may bask in the hypocrisy together in earnest.![]()
i heard the news earlier today and i expected the positive reactions here. two userbase vs one, and most members here have a ps4. the game is coming to their platform so of course they're not going to get mad about it, i was just scanning the tomb raider thread earlier and checking post history of anyone who got upset and they posted here all excited.
So will PS4,eventually.
