So I guess we can assume not any time soon. Maybe they are delaying it to polish up the online play, or maybe they think it would be lost in Xbox's fall lineup (if jan is the correct date).

Even though I want to play online, I need me some third strike soon! I guess PS2 version will have to do for now.

PS2 is August, Xbox is "Winter." No year attached, just a season.

Well, the delay maybe isn't so terrible. CvS2 had a bunch of bugs, and perhaps Capcom is taking extra time to make sure SFAC runs well and is fully optimized. Or, perhaps Capcom decided that releasing in September and competing with that huge list of online fighters for Xbox wouldn't be a smart business move and decided to come out in January/Feb when there are fewer new releases to compete with.

You mean in the first quarter when they intend to release Capcom Fighting Evolution and SNK will be releasing Samurai Showdown 5/Special? Guess they better delay to summer.
