Street Fighter Anniversary - Hyper Fighting (XBOX)

i've been looking forward for this game to come out for sometime and now that it has, i've heard a few reports that Hyper Fighting has busted controls. is this true and if so, could someone please go into detail of how bad it actually is? will it hamper online play?

Controls are fine unless you use the S controller, then it'll give you problems. AI is FUCKING HARD, even on 'easiest' difficulty level.

S controller and SF2 = :(

When I first tried it on that controller, I could only hadoken like 75% of the time. As we all know, that's really, really bad in Street Fighter.

i have a Pelican Real Arcade joystick. i've heard many complain that it's hard to pull off dragon punches, etc. does this only apply to pad users or did capcom really screw up the controls?

edit: heh, i got my answer on the first reply. thanks for the help guys

Even the orignal Xbox controller is not that good for street fighting games, the PS2 controller is better.

But honestly, you should invest in some sort of 6-button pad or stick for SF games. If you're playing with the stock pads from either console you're going to get frustrated.

I have it for both PS2 and Xbox...anyone else notice that the Xbox version looks a lot better with the filter off than the PS2 version looks with the filter off?

It's not very responsive with a Dual Shock controller, either.
Beats the shit out of how it is with the Xbox's pads. If I have to use a PS2 pad, I like to use one of the original digital PlayStation controllers.

I'm slumming it with the Controller S until I can decide how I want to get a joystick for the Xbox (either use a PS2 stick or go buy/build something) and I'll tell you, the Controller S is horrible for fighters. It was no better for Guilty Gear X2 #Reload though I could manage that a little better.

I found out how much of an advantage a stick user has tonight when I went online for the first time and lost my first six matches. You just can't count on that damn d-pad to respond 100% every time you input a dragon punch or even a fireball motion. It sucks.

Blah, blah, blah. The point iz, you guys stink with a dpad. I can pull-off dragon punches and fireballs just fine on the Controller S. But then again, this iz coming from a guy who can actually do supers and whatnot on a infamous dpad: the Gamecube. My only gripe with X-Box dpad iz that it's a bit slippery.

Same here. I can use any game pad without a problem; CvS2 on Game Cube is perfectly fine to me. Still, I now prefer the use of my SF Anniversary joystick for the game. :)

God...I played SF3 before I played SF2 and I can't go back to SF2. It just...well....sucks.

I get my ass handed to me by Cammy after I beat Gill 3 times.

I can't use joysticks:( Btw, anybody tried out the SF Anniversary controllers ? I'm just wondering if the dpad iz any better than the X-Box's.

Keep in mind the SFII AI is cheap as fuck while the SFIII one is more managable... and fair!
