When your game offers potential Free DLC the guaranteed money has to come from somewhere. Costumes for Birdie and F.A.N.G ain't gonna deliver, maybe if the game sold more they could have taken more risks with other characters. No research has to be done by Capcom either Koei Tecmo already did for them with DOA.

Would make sense seeing as everyone now has two V-triggers.
The design of his armor on the silhouette makes it seem like hes coming back in edgelord demon mode so I doubt hell be a comedy character

nothing to tell - they added a large amount of new trials to the game mid-season this year. With new VTs and a whole new series of balance changes, a new series of of Trials per character is without question in the cards.
They have to come. S3 characters need trials, S1-2 characters need new trials because of the new V-Triggers and inevitable balange changes. Its not really insider knowledge.
I mean, it seems like they would have to update the trials each season, but I remember back in SFIV when we went from Super to Ultra without updated trials.

Kinda weird selection of characters.
Like, I get Ryu and Chun and Akuma is the biggest S2 character so those all make sense. Then Guile and Ibuki from S1 on the right.
Then on the left there's Juri and... Rashid?
It would make more sense to me to have two S1 DLC characters on the right (Guile, Ibuki) and two S2 characters on the left (say Kolin and Ed given their story mode involvement)

At least they have put some effort into this, I just expected a basic Arcade Mode, but this is more than I expected, with different variations of Arcade Mode to play.
I like all of it except the UI. It looks like they just put a new skin on it instead of making it good. I told my friend if they dropped a "Super" with 2 v triggers and 2 seasons of DLC in the initial price that I'd bite, so I guess I'll bite.
Also, the name is dumb but who cares.
