How would they get in? There's no download for the PC beta, and there probably won't be one until the 24th.

I actually came here to post this but I see you already did it lol. I was debating preordering for the beta but I didn't want to pay full price for a PC game. This deal was enough to get me to pull the trigger.

Hey guys, quick question. I'm planning on pre-ordering the ps4 version digitally but I have a question.
If I pre-order with my NA account, will I still be able to play with people from non NA-regions or will I need to switch to a non-NA account for that? Essentially, is there region locking?

I would probably suggest the Hori Real Arcade Pro Kai, which goes for $150. It's the best blend of quality and price right now. Some people don't care for the buttons on the Kai, but you can buy replacement buttons for only $2.50 each and even if you end up doing that it's still way cheaper than if you were to buy a MadCatz TE 2.
There was no region locking in the beta. I'm from Europe and played against US players.
Another question: When launching the 2nd beta right now after the update, did anybody noticed if the PS4's "No broadcast" notice appears when booting the game?
It would be cool if they would let us stream this time...

Both the stick and the buttons are Hori's own parts, which by all accounts are pretty solid but not quite the same level as Sanwas. From what I read and seen I think most people would be completely content with the Hori but if you're dead set on Sanwa then you'd have to replace the parts or buy a TE2.

Will be interesting to see character usage breakdowns.
Probably 50%+ Ken for the 2nd beta I'm assuming.
I launched the application this morning to check this and the message didn't pop. I was able to take a screenshot of the title page which I'm sure you wasn't able to do before.

The ones you'd need to replace (if you wanted to) would be the OBSF-30s, which are $2.45 each.
It's not going to be up until the 24th. And that's assuming the servers don't go to crap when it does.

Is ken really that popular? I'm not big on sf games normally but I'm going all in with this one and ken has always been my fav. I started in a mvc online emulator community and i always used ryu to change to ken since ken wasn't in the game directly. Having the most popular character as my fav kind of sucks lol.

It could just be Ken being the closest to playing like Ryu, and people wanting to actually learn the game going with what they can. I'll probably just play Rashid, since he looks cool to me, and I won't have to time to properly "learn" the game, anyway.
they'll probably have one with a dedicated touch pad solution as well as the fixed plexi from the Chun TE2
based on using ken at NYCC, he's kinda weird imo. definitely very different from ryu this time, and doesn't feel much like older iterations either. won't stop the hordes, but I'll be playing him more than I thought I would since I absolutely couldn't get a feel for him in the few games I used him. crush counter on DP whiff and his awkward new tatsu will make for some crazy matches lol. just hope they don't figure out ex air tatsu since that shit looks pretty beast.
I expect to see a lot of vega, actually. he feels pretty good and I'm sure lots of people are going to try him since he isn't charge, and probably like how he plays.
people keep having questions and stuff since it's pre-order/application based, plus they haven't given completely full details yet, so it might as well be in place now instead of new threads being made for each little detail Capcom provides and questions about access/controls/specs/characters.

For what it's worth, I rarely see Kens and fight tons of Ryus in Ultra on PS4. I have no idea whether that community reflects the overall SF4 community though.
I'm not sure where else to ask this, so sorry to throw a bit of a random post in here, but is Ultra SFIV on PS4 worth it yet? I'm pretty stoked for V but honestly never got IV and was thinking it might be fun to take a dive for a bit before the new game is released. Go for it or just wait?
