On the other user's end, too? I haven't noticed this in 17 hours of the last beta. The point I was making was that the game running like shit on your PC doesn't affect the other person. Whereas it pretty noticeably does in SF4 (slows the frames down completely).

The netcode is fantastic. All my matches have been like offline.
Ken isn't available but he's the default for the fav character. The game probably just selects another character in place of him.

So no way to just train? And is it always random character when you get challenged? I haven't played with any of these people and it's connecting in seconds..kinda sucks.

They should just let us PS4 and PC users play training mode from here until launch to appease the data miners. (and so we have something to chew on while we wait for the full game)

Wow, just played my first game, graphics have improved tremendously, textures are much better, AF looks to be at least 16x, particle effects are more pronounced and high rez, hell even the birds on stun are now animated and look real. There's a lot of subtle changes and those more pronounced which is making this fighter look better and better, I'm very impressed.....
Probably not until the actual Beta 3.
They're punishing us for having unlimited access to the previous beta :[

It uses what you set as your favorite character. The settings are in the main menu. You pick your color as well.

Oh no, I mean training mode videos. I haven't actually played the beta myself as I bought the PC version after the last beta.
Judging by those I thought it would actually be like SFIV, that was my assumption. What if I'm playing someone with a slow-ass badly configured game where every time Ryu prepares his super, his game slows down to a crawl? Would the animation finish before on my PC, resulting in Ryu throwing his shinkuu hadoken on my end, yet on the other PC he's still in his animation, desynchronizing the whole thing? Maybe there is a frameskipping implementation that only works online then?

I wouldn't worry about PC considering this is just a stress test and not the official thing.
Being on wifi than wired slowed things down for me last time and could train.
Don't know if it will work for you tho.
That's not going to happen with cross play being a thing.
...unless Capcom disables cross play during those periods where PC is behind with the updates. Capcom, please don't do that.
Pretty sure this is what it does. Otherwise you'd have had widespread reports of slowdowns. Worst thing we saw was teleporting enemies due to bad connections but that's about it.

No as that will split up the player base which is something they don't want.
