Well that was pretty entertaining.
So that was super fun to watch.
But as a complete newcomer to Street Fighter, I was watching the health bars and is Ryu traditionally that powerful? Or it's just SFV Ryu that has the insane damage. There was a 3 hit combo or something that took off ~40% of Lupe's life that popped up every now and again.
For real though, that shit was lit. It was obvious they both thought it was FT5 and Daigo was messing around near the end there. It wasn't staged, it was Daigo still figuring out SFV and messing around with Lupe.
Still a good win for Lupe.
Once Daigo masters SFV, Evo is gonna be freakin' lit as fuuuuck!

i think those were crush counter combos so yeah those do a ton of damage.
Twitch chat was feeling it.Absolutely. Also this event was a good reminder of how god-awful Twitch chat is.
Lmfao perfect.Tomorrow "John D. Aigo" is going to collect his 500:1 bet winnings that Lupe would win.
But could floe beat Justin Wong in a race?
It's still a win against Daigo, despite whatever conditions there may have been on it. Pretty sure though the outcome wasn't already planned.Daigo has had the game for some time. Markman mentioned it on the Madcatz tournament stream a few weeks ago. It was staged, you are buggin if you thought it wasn't tho it is possible Daigo didn't know it was a FT3.
Daigo was definitely having fun, but I don't think Lupe winning was a foregone conclusion. Daigo clearly went for the DP in the last match that would have won him the entire set if it connected.

This is really like Steve Urkel being manhandled by Eddie Winslow lmao.
Even if he legit missed the DP or went for the fierce that got stuffed, he clearly controlled the match and dictated the outcome. Sometimes he played seriously, sometimes he chose to eat DP's, sometimes he wanted to see if he could show off a really cool parry for the crowd and stream. It wasn't staged, but he was in full control of the outcome the entire time.
SF is life man brings everyone together
Joseph Gordon Levitt is a huge fan as well he considers SF like a game of chess.
Honestly I think pros train for pro caliber moves/combos. I think a random can trough off a pro completely unpredictable.
