Honestly for as much shit as sfv gets I honestly think there is a good portion of people who can't play anything else that released this year to competent levels.

Umm, what other fighting game has had more of an impact on the community this year than SF5?

KOF14? GG Revelator? Pokken?

Seriously...is it really that surprising? How many SF5 threads have we seen here? This is SF5 OT6, and it's still hovering around the first couple pages of Gaming. Up until the recent announcements for KOF14 and Revelator, those threads were pretty dead.

Haters spend more time talking about SF5 than playing their other fighting games.

No one should be shocked.

It's not even that - SFV is still the premiere fighting game, even if it sold poorly. Its the game everyone things of outside of MK when they think of the genre. Its the most heavily supported on the esports scene. And even though we keep hearing anecdotal tales of "Every pro I know hates the fucking thing" its the most played fighting game at the professional level.

People don't just play a game if they hate it. SFxT proved that - game got pushed, had Capcom backing, had balance patches, had an amazing roster, but people rejected it & hard. Thats not happening with SFV, despite the hyperbole.

gonna spend a day in training mode tomorrow. I am tired of sucking ass at this game and need to really figure out how to punish some things that keep blowing me up. get so close to gold then drop T_T

Every single time I play a battle lounge with someone I don't know and I body them then I always say in chat " you're welcome" and just leave.

Aw man, I keep lingering between Silver and Ultra Bronze. It's tough to level up without having time to play. Also, too bad GG Xrd wasn't nominated.
