Stuck in Stubbs the Zombie

Yes it is. It plays like a Halo mod to some extent, and it can be beat just shy of 6 hours, but it is a hell of a ride.

Great game.

- 50's Retrofuture
- Zombies, blood, gore
- The first game not done my Tim Schafer that I actually laughed at.
- Fun from beginning to end.

You'll beat it in a single sitting, so you may want to rent, but at least give it a chance.

PS: 360 BC according to the list that is circulating.

You forgot:

-superboring repetitive level design.

Yeah it's funny, yeah it's got good controls, sure it's fun (at first), but the game's too fucking short, and it's the same thing over and over and over.

YEah, u have to feel all the 4 "sections" of it. Very funny moment.

Not even that much is required, just keep on pissing, doesnt matter which section.

And I am gonna gave to agree with Ani, it isnt bad, just very repetitive, I really started to find finishing the game a chore towards the end, partialy because of repetivness and also due to really cheap deaths, like I said in another topic. Getting half or more of your health takin out by one enemy while you are persueing him, to than have his buddys finish you off inst fun, at least make it so you can follow as fast as they can run.

this thread got me to decide to finish the game. I'm on the next to last level now, with the military guys. It's hard as hell.

LOL, really? ahaha I made the game slightly more difficult myself then :D

I like how u can/have to jump in your own piss if you wonna quickly escape from dangerous situations.

lol, yeah, though most times I ended up in there was due to those scientists with the energy weapons that blast you back. Almost as annoying to kill as millitary guys.

I agree with your verdict, but it's not 'too short' simply because it is so repetitive. I felt the same about Luigi's Mansion: everyone was complaining it was too short, when I had just about had enough when it was done. Difference is that in LM's case, the limited concept had probably been fully exploited, while STZ just reeks of missed opportunities.

So I'm in the second part of this military level (the second to last level in the game). It looks like I'm supposed to fight a tank now or something, as there's no other humans left and I don't see a way out.

Did I do something wrong, or am I supposed to take on a tank somehow?

Go inside the tent area. Some nice chaps ought to be along for you to zombify.

I've gotten a whoile bunch of civilians to appear. I've eaten their brains, and blown up the tank so no one was driving it.

I cannot get into the tank, and there are still no doors open.

What was supposed to happen?

That part was tricky for me too. I didnt have any "weapon" until same civilians came in and I could fill the rolling head action. I then rolled it towards the tank and killed its pilot (I actually didnt realize it imemdiately). I then jumped into the tank and bad guys came from a door. The exit door it is.

The whole part was so bad designed that I'm not even sure I did what I though I did or was supposed to do. But that's how I remember it.

EDIT: damn, me slow writer. You should be able to get into the tank. Try from different sides untile the get in icon appears.

Yea, I headrolled the tank. The steering wheel comes up, but I never get the prompt to hit Y from anywhere on or around the tank.

yeah, I know. It's messed up. THERE IS a way to get into the tank. IIRC it's from its left side. Probably the left side of the turret.

Pretty much the same thing everyone said about Halo then? :lol
