13-year-old Jeffrey Province says he was the first student into his math class at East Bank Middle School on Tuesday when he observed his teacher, Thomas Yohn, looking at his computer.

"I saw something no 13-year-old should ever see in a school," said Jeffrey Province, a 6th grade student at East Bank Middle School.

From there, Jeffrey says that he went to his school principal with the information.

Later in the school day, a video taken by a student shows Thomas Yohn barged into Jeffrey's English class and berated him in front of his classmates.

His mother says that she was never contacted by the school or the board of education about the incident. Instead, she found out about what happened on social media.

Carmelene Short says she was told by school leaders that Thomas Yohn was suspended pending an internal investigation

In the video, Mr. Yohn can be heard saying that, "He tried to blackmail me, he said 'oh Mr. Yohn' he said, 'I'm going to get an A this quarter or I'm going to tell that you're watching inappropriate things on TV an I saw it,'".

Jeffrey says that he was not trying to blackmail Mr. Yohn into getting a good grade.

But that ain't all!

Province told his mom the scene he saw featured a man and two women discussing a threesome.

From what he told her, she doesn’t think there was actual sex.

“It’s still not appropriate viewing,” she told HuffPost.

However, no evidence of porn has been found on the teacher’s computers, according to the school’s principal.

To be fair, I don't know if a school can be trusted to find something when the dude probably deleted all his shit right after, or used Incognito.

I almost believe the teacher, but the video makes me think otherwise.

edit: upon further review it seems the teacher was definitely watching something he probably shouldn't have, but I know this kid was just trying to fuck the teacher over so he could get better grades or not have to do any work or something. Children and early teenagers are evil and selfish.

If there was blackmail involved, wouldn't the teacher go and speak with the principal right after the kid supposedly asked for a good grade? I mean, I wouldn't trust a kid trying to do that to me in a situation and rather deal with it myself.

Video looks more like the teacher wanted to cause a scene with misinformation to paint the kid in a negative light. In any case, a teacher shouldn't act like that.

I have 2 reddit accounts, one for the porn, and one for work related subreddits. Once I accidentally subscribed to a porn site at home while logged into the wrong account. I didn't know that until I was at work one day and browsing reddit and saw a NSFW tag. I thought 'why is this NSFW?' and before I read it I clicked. Genitalia filled my screen. Luckily I am the IT staff at work so it was no big deal.

The real question is, if the teacher's blackmail story is true, then how did the teacher respond? If the teacher said yes, we wouldn't be hearing about this story right now because the kid would keep his silence in exchange for an A. If the teacher said no, he would have gone to administration right afterwards to explain the situation before the student could. But neither of these things happened. So... I doubt the blackmail story. And the public berating of the student instead of going to administration makes me think the teacher is trying to cover his ass by slandering the student's reputation.
