TheOman, you clearly misunderstand the diversity of retardness that frequents GAF, such that a good portion of us are compelled to take seemingly ridiculous assertions, requests, comments, and what not seriously.

Thank you Zaptruder, but this was obviously my fault. I mean, 22 seconds is an *extremely* long time and the reasons I gave for not marking it were undeniably valid. Hyperbole need not enter such things as marking exams for students. Wouldn't you put the fate of a student into the hands of GAF based on the immaculate opinions of the majority of the posters here? I mean, *surely*, leaving the outcome of a student's midterm exam up to the population of this forum, most of whom are strangers makes sense, yes?
If you don't get the tags above and below, I can't help you and you should turn off your computer.

I must admit the MattKeil/SeanBaby story is understandable in that there's no way the customer could have known that whatever they jokingly ran out of they probably don't ever run out of. However, 22 seconds? Marking not fun? Tired? To me, these are ridiculous and funny reasons. I found it laughable the software told me in bright red letters that it was 22 seconds late (meaning that the exam should not be accepted according to the machine) as I know some leeway time could have been coded into the algorithm supporting the software, but I guess most of you did not. Thank you Matt for your example lesson in humour.
Next time I will give an example of what I'm looking for....like punishments that don't fit the crime. A few of you made the leap that I made a little too far to jump, my apologies to the rest of you. <-- That's a metaphor, so please don't ask me why I made this student try to jump over a large gap in the earth's crust. Oh, and yes, that was another lame attempt at humour.
