Baraka in the White House
2-Terms of Kombat
So apparently I have a broken blood vessel in my eye.
Living in Texas during this horrid drought, a lot more dust, pollen and other allergic contaminants is floating around in the air than usual causing myself and others all kinds of eye problems. So I didn't think anything of it when my left eye abruptly became really irritated, to the point of me having to drive home from work in the middle of the night and take out my contacts.
The next day my eye was incredibly red and briefly got boogery, which led me to suspect pinkeye. However that quickly went away and it just remained irritated and very light sensitive.
Today, after a couple rounds of Clear Eyes drops, the redness is mostly gone save for a splotch below the cornea. Went to the doctor and got it diagnosed as a broken blood vessel. Apparently it's not uncommon for contacts lens wearers to get it. I googled it and it looks like mine is pretty mild compared to most cases; my eye is pretty much clear except for the red splotch. Anyone else deal with these?
