I remember reading about a new Acne treatment that is due to be in use soon. Dermo introduces a bacteria onto your skin that feeds and kills off P-Acnes bacteria living in the skin. Won't stop greasy skin, but will mean no big red spots.
Where did you read about this?

Oh, about that Accutane...I took that stuff. I still get acne. I fucking suck. And I'm not a dirty bastard either. I just suck. In every possible way.

If I remember correctly, you're an adult, and shouldn't be battling acne all of a sudden.

Adults get acne all the time. I'm in my twenties and i still get the occasional outbreak, though not as bad as it used to be during my teenage years. In adults, the triggers are usually things like stress, pollution etc.

You gotta remember, Acne is big business for companies. It's not in any pharms interests to make a total acne killer - even Accutane you have to basically get on your knees and beg for (in the UK at least).

Almost every cosmetic company has a whole anti-spot / anti-grease lineup of moisterisers, gels, facial packs ect that rake in the cash. And if your depressed because of your skin, you won't think for a second about paying £6.99 quid for a product. So I wouldn't be surprised if this phage thing kinda sinks away without trace.

How did it go? Did it work even a little? I used a lower dosage than i should have but it still worked like a miracle :p . I always have the option of going back if i need to. :) I thik Accutane is ussualy taken in proportion to your body weight or something. It was good news for me because the antibiotics were doing nothing and they have potentially worser possible side effects in the long term.

In the UK doctors cant give Accutane i think. This is why for acne try to get a refferal to a dermatologist as they have better stuff you can use. Even if it costs more its good value in the long term and you save on all those crap you buy.

PuertoRicanJuice, it at least worked right after you went off it? Honestly, I've never heard of Accutane not working at all. I mean, it damages the actual parts of your skin that causes acne, or something.

Yea it did work for a little while. I mean, it probably worked better than anything else I've tried. But I still get shit, it just wasn't a "miracle cure" for me. My dermatologist actually said some people take it twice. I started to take it a second time...but I didn't get through the whole treatment because I started doing bad in school and then my parents started saying it was because of the medicine. Personally, I knew it wasn't the medicine, but they wouldn't believe me. It was a combination of not giving a shit, thinking about my ex-girlfriend half the time, and once again, not giving a shit.

That being said...my acne is definitely not as bad as it used to be. I was just in a bad mood when I posted that.

Get back on it if you want get rid of it. Of course time its used and dosage is also a factor. Its not like you take it one week and you're cured.

lowers the chance significantly of your pores getting blocked and it sheds your skin much faster. In a simple way. Your skin gets dry, very dry.
