Jesus marine bruhs, it's a fucking canal. It's like a Maze, with all the parts requiring a brain cut out. You Go forward. Or you stop going forward. Shiiiit.

Legit question, would the cost of execution and clean up of like...obliterating the offending vessel with a Missile, be less than the amount of money it costs clogging the canal for the same amount of time? Because if there's a net gain, I promote a legally sanctioned, by the books, clean and pretty bombing run to clear out the debris, most preferably from three different angles with Bodies by Drowning Pool over top. Or Du Hast.
There was a "canal" at one point in ancient Egypt where they took the boats out of the water and pulled them by horse or mule on some sort of rolling apparatus.

Actually it's the opposite - the canal has a different depth at different parts and there are maps for each. Thousands of ships pass through since their captains take a fucking moment to read the map and know how to navigate given their ship's tonnage.
A similar problem exists in Poland - politicians built a canal like this one and want a ship to pass on 17th of September. They cannot find a captain willing to do it since the canal is not mapped so you don't know if the ship will get stuck or not.
