Suicide Squad Official Trailer

Ah so there is a gif of the most unnecessary line I ever heard in a trailer.

Man I can watch this trailer a million times. So damn goooooood.

So my guess is that some demonic thing is the main villain of the film and it will probably play a role in Enchantress's origin. The Suicide Squad is sent in to stop it. Maybe it's Enchantress herself pulling all the strings.

Oh, and it's funny seeing Hardy not in this, because then it would've been VERY obvious that WB were just rolling with people they've used before (Him in Mad Max) and basically just made Focus so they could test Smith and Robbie's chemistry

Smith screams one and done to me, too. He probably wanted in on a big DC film, especially one with Ayer, who made possibly the most fucking depressing movie I've ever watched, Fury

All I can hope is that the movie keeps Joker manipulating Harley to becoming insane. The trailers give a feeling off that he tortures her. I hope the scene with her strapped to a table while Harleen Quinzel has the Joker all ready to torture only to laugh at the last second and be like "had you fooled, didn't I?" to which she then slowly returns the laugh as the first sign of her being affected by his "charm".

Don't really understand the hate BvS gets around these parts. Both BvS and Suicide Squad look amazing.

A trend on GAF. They both look wonderful but seems we can't have two nice things going for DC right now. I can still remember the Superman thread, yikes.

Gaf is the only place I have seen people have such a dislike for the movie. Then again Gaf is also the only place where people have such a dislike for Man of Steel, BvS looks good and so does Suicide Squad. They'll both likely be in the top three of best comic book movies this year

That was a really well made trailer. It made me wish this was coming out in March and Batman vs Superman was coming in August.

I dunno, Civil War, Dr Strange and Apocalypse are stiff competition

It's not just a trend on GAF, a lot of people on GAF, the Internet, and the real world have legitimate gripes with what they have seen so far, including me.

If you like it that's fine, but understand that lot of people have perfectly fine reasons for feeling differently.

Man, I know that Marvel's been rolling hard lately and seem like they can't miss, but holy shit do WB/DC just not give a fuck and will try anything on planet fucking earth. 200 million dollar Mad Max? Sure. 150 million dollar Japanese manga adaptation? Sure. Big budget Suicide Squad movie? Eh, why not.

They just don't care. I've said this before, but I feel WB are the most inspired/creative of all the film studios, so them + DC means some real fucking crazy shit is coming. And it looks like is starts with this.

It feels like a GOTG situation, where they know they've got a winner, so they're going to ramp up everything real close to when it comes out. It's got sleeper all over it.
I forgot where I read it, but I recall hearing that WB tends to have somewhat of a 'hands off' approach to their projects. Obviously, a major movie studio investing millions in a film is going to stipulate some measure of control but they tend to let their creators get pretty....creative. They're my favorite studio.

Go watch Lilya 4-ever. Come back if you survive.

I've been behind Suicide Squad 100% of the way. Still a few things I'm hesitant about, but I thought Harley was a lot better here than in the teaser, and had less of a focus to boot, which resolves a lot of my earlier problems.

It feels a lot like Guardians of the Galaxy - a gritty-but-goofy, nihilistic twist on the superhero formula. Can't wait.

He ends up in big movies because he has a pretty face. And he picks shitty movies. But he's still a good actor when paired with a competent director and character. Go figure, right?

He's a terrible actor who I wish Hollywood would stop shoving down our throats.
