Good thing CR's there for a backup. Very dialogue-light episode,
Not a bad episode, but it's times like this I remind myself that these kinds of shows can easily spend one episode establishing the stakes. The Zodiac scene was kinda cool, and also made me ship Lucy and Yukino a bit.

But the thing is when something important happens he's there to help. He may seem perverted but he always helps people In need. He is the straw hats best cook. And there are times when he shines so he ain't a loser.

The hate is real with this one. Also Sanji doesn't abandon no one, especially in the Dressrosa Arc.

Sanji was tolerable in the pre-time skip. Sure, his gimmick was hot garbage, but he had some pretty good scenes (Mr. Prince, Enies Lobby, etc).
Oda took his gimmick to overdrive in the post-time skip and made him absolutely unbearable.

sanji is a one trick pony when it comes to jokes that the joke got old 5 min after he got on the screen :/
I was hoping that with the time jump the joke would go away but nope... first thing... LETS MULTIPLY THE CRAP JOKE BY 10... it's funny again then right... no.... bleed to death sanji the show would be better off without out you(same with chopper... chopper can go get sold and be a mascot for some other crew >.>)

Yeah I could see why he may seem unbearable in the post-time skip. But I couldn't blame him since he lived with the Okama for 2 years. And also his character has been great in the Dressrosa arc.
Air soft pellets bouncing off of them and them playing dead.

Yeah but every character in the straw hat crew has a gimmick. And Oda has built upon that from the very beginning so it won't go away.
And also I could see someone disliking Sanji or even Ussop, but Chopper what. Like how could you hate on a innocent reindeer.
Well now I know I don't ever need to give One Piece another shot.

One horribly homophobic shounen series is quite enough for me.
chopper was awesome when he was first introduced... and then he was regulated to mascot duty and has been a terrible character since shortly after the alabasta arc finished... he has small moments every now and then but 99% of the time when he is on screen it's just to be moe and annoying... aka... like most moe things... it needs fire... and lots of it :/
as for the gimmicks, I only really find sanji's annoying since it often causes a handicap to the crew, most of the other gimmicks tend to vanish during serious moments.
note: I like the rest of the cast... though I wish the women's breasts would go back to early one piece instead of constantly getting bigger and bigger.

I'd totally pay extra for a no-imagination version bonus.

I was aware that the guns fired air soft pellets. What I find odd is that they appear to be in some sort of model dystopian city arena like it's COD. Is that what the environment actually looks like, or is that part of their imagination too?
You know what? It doesn't matter. I better stop now before I make the mistake of further questioning the logic of an anime comedy.
Doesn't this basically include 95% of all TTGL posters and official art in general?

Yo he was great in the Water 7 and even the Punk Hazard Arc. Especially when he was dealing with the sick children.

Listen: It's obviously not a hard and fast rule of this much skin shown = ban. None of you actually believe that. There's something to be said about the framing and intent of a picture that should be exceedingly obvious, but I guess isn't. A wide angle picture of a woman in a swimsuit just standing there is probably not bannable. A picture of a woman wearing a swimsuit where the majority of the shot is her cunt and ass obviously is.

I grew tired of him wining in punk hazard even if it was justified...
perhaps it wasn't so bad in the manga.... but it was way to drawn out in the anime.
I am not saying chopper and sanji don't have their moments, but hands down the show would be better without out them as you could focus on the more interesting characters.... as it is right now it's to fragmented and even the bits of the manga I read often feel like nothing gets done since they are trying to cover so many different things.
