Summer Lesson (Tekken team/Harada, UE4) - PS4 Morpheus killer app :)

No use arguing with people calling this kind of game the scum of the earth. They all have that Japan is so crazy/sexual thing stuck in their head so hard they will never think differently. They do keep topics bumped up though so people who might be interested can see it.

Same as region begging whiners.

Anecdotal. I can also say that the people that I consider my friends (not from GAF, RL) do not play games like these because they want to simulate having sex with a 2D/3D drawing. What I've just said is also anecdotal, by the way.

are you seriously saying that you know people who play porn games for the bits that aren't porn?

not that i don't believe you, that's just hilarious

finally games can get away from appealing to young straight men with shooters and appeal to young straight men with fake objectified women

Finally all movies are intellectual masterpieces like 2001 Space Oddysey and Black Swan, no more crap like Die Hard and Spirited Away. Good riddance on diversity in entertainment, can't have that.

People sure love to tell others how to live their lives like they are the perfect representation of mankind themselves.

This is useless as long as Sony continues to bar AO games from releasing on the PS4.
Oculus Rift will fill in that void I suppose Lol...

But I thought its all about the cocktease anyways and keep on pushing the boundaries till a thread gets made on GAF and everyone just shakes their heads

Y'know, I thought the whole "this thing is a problem", "oh yeah, what about this other problem?" back-and-forth was looked down upon, especially from what I've seen in debates about other things such as feminism in the game industry.

Trying to point out sexism against women? Someone brings up sexism against men. Trying to point out sexual perversion? Someone brings up excessive violence (which is even less related).

I don't know... it's just weird.

Because I think about more things that just the ones that directly affect me and I have an opinion about them?

It concerns me to see it happen and that it's so acceptable that Sony itself is backing it up.

I think my feelings ultimately boil down to something similar. You make a good argument.

We should stop making entertainment, it hurts too many people.

Can't wait when the Arabs and Chinese complain that they now the standard bad boys in Western entertainment.

Remember when people jokingly said that if Morpheus+PS4 had something like this, it'd make the PS4 blow up in Japan?

Did not picture the day that would actually be happening, but here we are. Schoolgirl Asuka: Voyeurism Edition.

If this ultimately takes a huge chunk of people out of the gene pool it may actually be beneficial to mankind.
Hooray! Population Control!

no that's not a good thing at all

The demo does look nice. I would at least try the game, because technically looks impressive, and I like the atmosphere.

But.

I do not like how this game is basically targeted to straight males. Women and homosexuals are not considered at all, given how the team is trying to pandering to the otaku fanbase. Most generally, Summer Lessons is not targeted towards people who do not care to spy the girl, or even to such subtle and malitious scenes.

How do you know this? Girls and gay people won't be able to have a good time interacting with a female character somehow?

It's a normal reaction

People try to deflect/change subject when they feel threatened.

Some people missed a girl is playing this too.

It's obvious that a large part of the tech demo plays in the head of the players.

Sure, you can play it without pants (though you could that with every game with female characters) but you can also just enjoy the interaction with a girl.

Where is porn in this game? I can't see it. Can you show me? Also, I didn't knew that Sony allowed AO games in the store, too.

I love how people say vr is the futures and when they see this they go "These pervs are holding back the medium" Many things far more hold this back than this regional cultural thing.

Awww yeah! do want!
For some reason this intrigued me, at the same time I was rather surprised when they showed it.

I made smoother versions.

This is the Next Generation of Gaming.

Thank you for making this game Harada.

Thank you ;_;
But seriously. I wonder what kind of game this really is :P. A VR teaching/lesson game where you learn school stuffs? And I have a feeling that Harada will also make a boy/male character for this game :P(so the player can choose which character he/she wants ;P).

Firstly, school girl themes are not a dominant part of any gaming or pornographic industry anywhere in the west. Yes you can view similar western stuff if you look for it, but you can also find scat porn if you are that way inclined.

Secondly "just 18" is still at least legal age.

Thirdly if E3 was filled with little girls in school uniforms id say the same thing. Its creepy and I dont understand why people try to defend it. Why do school girls feature in so much japanese media?

Firstly, schoolgirl is a common fantasy/porn category in the west

Secondly, Japanese high school can include 18 year olds which would be 'legal age' as you say.

Perhaps there is a connection between the sexualisation of 'schoolgirls' in Japan and the fact that older 17-18 year olds are still wearing that uniform?

I do think it is a little too much, but more with the likes of akibas trip or senran etc. although maybe they were always in Japan and we are just seeing it more over here now

Violent content in games and its impact on real life seems more closely related to sexual content in games and its impact on real life than you're asserting. In both instances, you're looking at the effect it has on the behavior of the people who consume the content, so it's not like it's some super crazy "there are children starving in Africa!"-style deflection.

I think the comparison between sex and violence raises valid questions, while the feminism deflections you touched on are meant to stifle conversation and enforce an inequitable status quo.

You guys are hilarious. Attacking schoolgirl fetishization like its some weird gross shit when every porn star ever is "a teen". Same shit. These just come with cute uniforms.

LOL. This isn't porn. It was shown at a press conference for one of the world's largest corporations, as a tech demo. We're talking apples and oranges here.
