And even i am moderately surprised
JackFrost, if you are around, can you fill in with thoughts on Saturday.

I did seeeee....

Be your own pet : Blondie inspired cute singer, drummer out of his face. Started okay, ran out of ideas incredibly quickly. Got bored.

Billy Talent : only went because of the name. Screaming high pitched Iggy pop esque singer who couldn't wait to whip his top off. Sounded okay, ruined by high pitched squealing.

Ripslyme : on at the open air stage, absolute hell on earth and about 1 billion degrees. Pretty decent. Quite a fun festival band.

Death Cab for Cutie : I always meant to get round to listening to their stuff, and i definitely will after seeing them. Thought they were very good indeed.

Roddy Frame : "... and the closest thing to heaven is to ROCK AND ROLL!!!" Ex-Aztec Camera dood, pretty decent. Inevitable final song....

Bloc Party : Awesomeness x 1 billion. Absolutely great stuff from one of the best bands around at the moment IMO.

Public Enemy : ... without Flava Flav who had "passport issues". lol. I dunno if they started earlier , but they played about 4 tracks to a pretty tiny crowd, then pissed off. Massively disappointing

Teenage Fanclub : Only caught a bit, but they sounded as good as ever. Seemed weird seeing thousands of Japanese Teenage Fannies (ooerr)

The La's : Enjoyed much more than i expected, glad i chose them over Oasis (who apparently didn't come out for nigh on an hour after they were due on stage)

All in all, pretty good. Can't hear properly and made myself ill from eating the artery busting "Cheese, cheese, cheese sticks" - fried bread with cheese in the middle, coated with melted cheese, with a powdered cheese finish.... ugh.
