You get the hang of it already? I'd a figured it'd trip you up at first. And yeah, it may be the one of the best uses for the dual screens period.

Yup, that is definitely the good stuff. I can see why people really love it for that. If I hadn't played it back to back I might've been more accepting.

Miranda is really hot but I don't like her but she's really hot
DKC2 is maybe the better game, but I prefer DK's feeling of weight to diddys feeling of not weight.
I prefere DKC 1 to 2 and TF to 1.
Really tho, the ost was what clinched it for me. It's one of the most important aspects to any game period to a music nut like me, and I couldn't not put that there.
Also replaced Metroid Prime with Xenoblade because I never fully beat MP because my disc crashed on the elevator before I could fight ridley and I'm still salt about that.

After I fought him the first 2 times I thought he would be a grind. Got the timing down for riposte and owned his ass the 3rd time. Super satisfying. I'm enjoying the combat more that the souls games.

Tali is one of the only characters I've ever actually thought felt like a real person, and she has a lot of really adorable moments in 2 and 3. (Although Bioware did kind of shit all over anyone who ships Tali in 3, what with the stock photo bullshit, and the fact that she is the only character (to my knowledge) that Shepard never says "I love you" to.)
I whole-heartedly support this critical life decision.
If there's one thing I'll disagree with the Best Friends on, it's that there is NO shittalking the Puck Pass system. Also even if I somehow WAS allowed to play TWEWY on Android or iOS, why the fuck would I???
For fuck's sake the battle system was justified in the lore of the game, how can you stand to make it single screen without grievously retconning the game?

I don't really see the lack of input thing (it isn't great, but there are certainly plenty of times when solving the case relies on your finding evidence, although I suppose you are sort of railroaded into it), and the dialog choice thing I think makes a lot more sense if you know that "doubt" was originally "press," or something along those lines. Makes it a bit more Phoenix Wright-y.
I dunno, it just never really bothered me, I guess.

Only problem I have so far is you can't rest at lamps to reset the area. I can only assume it's a technical limitation of being unable to reset the area, some story reasoning, or to mitigate grinding.
I have the opposite problem right now where I have almost health pots in storage and 16 bullets. I keep using them for big guys because it's a free kill.

I think it's to mitigate grinding. If you decide to do it, it's really just load screens that make it a hassle, but you can make 1-2k a run in the starting area by funneling guys.

100% agree. Its a fine port that cleans up the graphics and adds some amazing songs, but the gameplay in the DS version is FAR better than the iOS version.
I'm curious, who's your paramour? (I think that's the official term. I dunno, I always just said I romanced Tali, and left it at that.)

See the carrying factor for me is that Dixie is the superior Aryan Kong of all time, and TP only pushes that law of the universe even further into reality. Since both games have her, I just need to look at the details surrounding the experience. I'm sorry man, but even though Retro know how to make sublime maingame content, they're lost when it comes to working out secrets and collectibles. Also you talk about the lack of weight but that's fine when you can obtain the ultimate momentum because rolling into enemies extends your roll in 2, and if you don't want that, that's ok because it's so fucking easy to determine how fast or slow you go.
Give me double teaming, Kremkoins, and Hero Coins over Puzzle Pieces, Kong stages, and fucking Banana Mirrors any day.
I fully expect the game to take a nosedive in quality come the second half, and for the final boss to continue the tradition of utterly abysmal final fights in Miyazaki games.

It's gonna be 3000% hype. This LP is bout to be the best.
After having a lengthy discussion with Beloved, we've realized Life Is Strange is really going a lot further than Telltale with how things have different outcomes, and how the game really doesn't let you know half of the time that what you're doing will affect something later, even if in just a minor way, it's actually really impressive how many differences we had even with situations where we made the exact same choices but still got slightly different outcomes because of something earlier that we can't remember doing.
