Super Mario 64 DS glitch?

I am wondering if there is something wrong with my DS, or if this is a glitch in Super Mario 64 DS. Sometimes when I'm playing a level, Mario's sounds (jumping, punching, etc.) have more of an echo effect. This happens in certain levels like Hazy Maze Cave or other levels where you expect an echo. The problem is, when I leave the level with Mario or continue playing in an area where there should not be an echo to the Mario sounds, there is! I find it pretty annoying, and it has happened more than once. If I quit to the main menu and start my adventure up again, the echo is still there. I'm pretty sure it is a bug in the game, but does anyone else ever experience this in gameplay? Or could there possibly be something wrong with my DS?

Also, I've noticed another small bug. When Mario or Yoshi's face pops on the screen during the opening, push the B button instead of selecting to play minigames, draw, or play the main game. Yoshi or Mario's face will freeze at it's position and become stuck on the background where its supposed to be clear for you to draw.

the first one -- is it a tinny echo? I've had that happen when the battery was getting low.

the second one isn't a bug.

Okay. Yeah, it just a echo that stucks with Mario after the level.

And I think the 2nd one is a bug... I;m not talking about how Mario face's drawn and you can play with it... Mario's face gets stuck on the background. I pushed B on accident and Mario's face freezed with one eye half open and his mouth wide open. The whole face is in color. Nothing is draw, but you can scribble over his face. When you go to "touch and drag" your drawing, Mario's face suddenly is absent from the background.

Oh, I know what you're talking about, that delayed doubling of the audio? I think it's a flaw in how they implemented the fake surround sound.

Easy fix: Flip the DS closed. Mario says "Bye-Bye!" in the doubled audio, and then the DS goes into Sleep mode. Then just reopen it, and it could be corrected.

It's happened to me several times, I was worried it was a flaw with my DS, but it's never happened with Feel the Magic.
