Looks good. Unfortunate that McMillen isn't involved but apparently he's in the abyss these days.
Looks fun. I don't know if it will have the same charm as the original though. The music is underwhelming as well, but I'm here for it either way.
Exactly what I was thinking, and goddamn that new soundtrack just....well ....let's just say I went back to the classic release. That original OST was a much larger part of the original's charm than I think any of us really realized. The music reminds me of when the original SMB soundtrack was replaced for the rerelease.

It truly cannot be overstated, the score can make or break it.It was dreadful and to your point, should be a case study on how important a game's soundtrack is to a game's overall presentation.
What do you mean by the abyss? I know he's talked before about struggling with his mental health. Is he still going through a tough time?Looks good. Unfortunate that McMillen isn't involved but apparently he's in the abyss these days.
I don't know him, so just going by publicly available info suggesting that he's had a lot of struggles over the past decade leading to unfinished projects et al.What do you mean by the abyss? I know he's talked before about struggling with his mental health. Is he still going through a tough time?
