happy.

Damn 15 bucks for a Namco in that good condition? Hot!

So, I've run into a problem in switching out the art on a stick.

Apparently, those Madcatz sticks that came out with TTT2 are TE-S+ sticks and not TE-S sticks, and I guess the button layouts between them are different.

TE-S:

TE-S+:

So now I have a TE-S+ with TE-S art and plexi. The most immediate solution would be to either buy a TE-S metal backing or TE-S+ art, but I haven't been able to find either of those things for sale.

Any suggestions?

Can't you just take off the bezel and place the plexi on top of the existing art?

Edit: whoops, got the stuff you had backwards. Ignore me. :-P

The button layouts are different between the SSFIV TE-S and the TTT2 TE-S+.

The Tekken stick uses the Noir layout (as does the SCV one). Cheapest thing to do would be to get/order SCV/TTT Noir plexi.

Korean arcade stick collection now at four! I love em too much. I also finally received the Airbag Lever. It's a modified Myoungshin Fanta lever with Matsushita microswitches and a smaller actuator to allow slightly faster action and larger neutral but at the cost of more sensitive triggering if used poorly. Apparently it's the secret weapon most Tekken arcades and players in Korea use.

From top left cw:
  • Jasen's Customs custom Panzer Fight Stick. Airbag Lever with Gamer Finger HBFS-30 G2 buttons (blue Cherry MX Switches) and Sanwa Denshi SDM-18 18mm buttons.
  • Joytron Exchanger. Crown CWJ-303N and Seimitsu PS-14-G buttons
  • IST MDF Arcade Stick. Gutted the Airbag Lever, now equipped with a Myoungshin Fanta modified with switches and actuator from a spare Crown CWJ-303A for Airbag feel. Unknown buttons but they sort of feel like a slightly harder Sanwa OBSF-30RG buttons but feels more floaty.
  • Etokki Omni. Stock Myoungshin Fanta and Crown CWB-203A buttons.

Both the Omni and the IST sticks have PS2 compatibility for the older games, including Tekken! Gotta have one for Tekken 4 at StrongStyle!

Ah, thanks Markman!

Glad my inability to read didn't cost much this time.

If anyone's interested in my MadCatz FS Pro for PS3 (also works on PC!), get in touch. I'm selling my PS3 and getting a PS4 soon, so I'm not going to keep it. Only used it to play KoF XIII training modes on Steam for a few hours. Have the original box (both controller AND shipping box). Looking at $85 shipped to the 48!

Man...I'm so tempted to import. It's just my impatience, though. I can be strong!

I REALLY hope Hori announces a PS3/PS4 fighting edge. The TE2 and that would be my go-to sticks for this generation.

MarkMan just posted the Japanese Persona 4 Arena 2 TE2 Boxart:

Need it. Is this suppose to release alongside the game in NA? Kinda getting down the wire in terms of announcing a release date if so.

I don't think it's going to correspond. Probably just whenever they get the approvals MarkMan mentioned. The Ultra TE2 already missed that game's release date. I'm impatiently waiting, but as long as it comes our before GGXrd, I'm good.

Just got my Hayabusa lever in and dropped it into my Kai.

I love this thing. It's JUST the right medium between the Seimitsu I like (LS40) and the smoothness of a JLF (the only thing I ever liked the JLF for).

I dig it.

got a hss 0130 on the way :)

is there any good place (preferable eu) to buy a 1L6B panel with artwork?
i´ve found a shop which sells repro ones but not with art :(

Any word yet on a possible v4 Fighting Edge?

It would be exactly what I'd need for the future.
Noir layout, Hayabusa+Kuro, ps3&ps4 compatibility.

Hey folks...I got a bit of a problem with my Madcatz Fight stick. Its the old SF4 one (not the TE) and I wanted to get rid of the white. I can custom paint the casing and replace the buttons and all that no problem but that still leaves me with the issue of the stick switch on the upper left still being white.

Here's a pic of someone else's stick. Its the area in the upper left that houses the two switches to stick select, lock it out, and to toggle turbo/ hit the Home button.

Where can I buy different colored versions of this part? Whats it called officially because I don't even know how to look it up. I'm seriously considering doing some fancy paint schemes and LED's but I need to replace or be able to work with this part better.

Blargh why are the PS4 sticks taking so long!

While I wait, I need a new 360/PC stick. I've already got a few TEs and a VS SH, and I am looking to branch out from MadCatz. I do have a HRAP3 and HRAP EX-SE as well.

Hori Fighting Edge or Razer Atrox?

Is there anywhere to fight the Hori Fighting Edge for not a huge ripoff?

FWIW I love my Atrox. My favorite stick yet and I have owned most of them!

Hayabusas are the best. I put two in my arcade panel.

Just grabbed a few for a Blast panel and to swap into my Qanba Q4. All the reviews on the Hayabusa make it sound like a combination of a lot of what I like about both Seimitsu an Sanwa sticks. Excited to find out. :)

Hi, I'll be doing my first modding with a MadCatz SF IV Fightstick (the basic one) and I'd like to know if the buttons have to be 24 or 30 mm wide. I'd like to go with Seimitsu PS-14-D, but they're 24 mm and I'm not sure if they fit, as it seems everyone is using PS-14-KN ones, which are 30 mm.

I'll be getting a LS-32-01 stick for my shmup needs.
