Super "NeoGAF Arcade Stick Thread" II TURBO

Guilty Gear buttons?! I want Guilty Gear buttons!!! They only had BlazBlue at TGS. The guy at the Arc System Works booth told me that I could only get them from there. He made it sound like they weren't selling them in stores. I don't know if what he said was true or not though.

yea the guilty gear buttons are easy to get, its the blazblue ones that are a challenge

EDIT: Itd also be nice to be able to get more creative buttons as screw in. I could steal the plungers to do so, but thats a pain and more money

Those are the ones from TGS. I'm super happy they weren't limited to just TGS. I wanted to buy more but my wife stopped me before I could spend more money.

Oh man, just secured a batman PS4. :D

Going to move my black ps4 to the cab, the batman PS4 as my main unit. Probably want to put in a bigger HDD before I even plug it in.

Everything's coming up Milhouse!

I still havent picked up a PS4 for my cab. Ive just been moving mine back n forth. It isnt too big of a deal since I jsut keep cables in both places, but eventually I need to grab one.

Game Watch has some pics of the merchandise area from TGS, with a nice close-up of the MadCatz TinyStick. They're trying to be sneaky with the paper covering the front, but from that shot it looks tall enough to accommodate real components.

(Click the magnifying glass icon for hugeness.)
Yeah, you can sort of tell with how high that bit of paper is at the front (and that it's the sameish height as the housing) it should be good with full-size Japanese parts (obviously not Happ-style though).

Anyone living in the NorCal area, some dude is selling a VLX for $150 an insanely cheap price. Catch is that the dude lives in the middle of nowhere and it's a far drive for some people.

Would get on this deal if I could but wanted to share with anyone else in the NorCal area looking to get a VLX.

Nice price for sure. I guess they're selling locally since the shipping costs and hassle might not be worth it.

anyone know where i can cop a PS4 TE2 in/around NYC?

i can't find one online and i'd like one before the next SF V beta

Anybody know if the gauges for the VCC, ground, D+/D- wires on USB cords are the same across all wires and if so, what they are? I need to splice some extra wire to them so my original cable can reach the pcb. There's no good place in my stick to put the damn thing, unfortunately. I have to squeeze it in the least bad spot.

Got my HRAP V Silent but have been only using it for Fightcade stuff since I'm waiting on my PS4, but so far I'm really liking it. I think it looks really sharp in person as well, especially compared to my HRAP 4.

My friend has my arcade panel all wired up, but we noticed that the plexi is bowing up now when it wasn't before. Anybody have suggestions fix that?

Recently finished up a few blank cases, and one completed custom.

Still some work to be done. I think I want to redo the art. It's got that TE2 moisture under the plexi thing going on. The 2p side is also bowing up a bit on that side. Not a huge deal, but a bit annoying. Also don't like the random red 2p start button, but that's an easy fix. Just don't have one right now.

Want to get new plexi for it, but not sure where I can get it done? Anybody have any suggestions?

Wired with two MKX pads for PS3/PS4/PC. Everything I should ever need. :D

Feels so dope.

Don't have any answers, but this setup is absolutely incredible. Thanks for showing it off.

Could try contacting Art and see if he'd want to do something custom for you. It's surprisingly easy to do it yourself but you'd need either a drill press or the right attachments for your drill, heh.

Been to Tokyo this week and went to Mak Japan twice to buy sanwa parts for my HRAP4 and boy what a great store, nice staff and great selection.
I also went to Akizuki-Denshi and he staff there were not nearly as nice and the place was full of people and it was hard to find what I was looking for.

Now I can't wait to get home and replace my stick (got a sanwa just to test an original gate) and the buttons (the sanwa ones are a lot former than the original HRAP ones).
