Hm, I'll think about it. I think the Fightstick Pro/Brawlstick can still be had in Australia for stupid cheap. Or I might stick to just (dual)modding my iCade Core with a PS360+ and some nice, chunky HAPP-style concave buttons.

Mad Catz doesn't seem to want my money. They charged my card three times and refunded each transaction.
I can order via Amazon, but I'm sort of having second thoughts. I may wait for the next design. Already have a PS4 stick, so I'm not in dire need.

MCZ website stinks, I avoid ordering from them. Every time I have it was either rejected or my bank called me about a possible fraudulent charge. So something is up there.

How old is it? Might just be the microswitches on the JLF, so it'd be easiest to replace the joystick
4-5 years old. I noticed that when it's not registering i just need to pull a little hard to the left to make it work again, i don't know if that helps in diagnosing the problem. If i need to change the joystick i guess i'll do that hopefully in a couple of months or so.

yeah sounds like you need a new JLF, which will be about $20+shipping. I usually replace mine yearly, but i also use my stick in 3+ game sessions a week.
Anybody interested in PS360+? I'm selling 2 of them over here.

I'm pretty sure MarkMan said they're gonna keep quiet until release on hardware announcements but I think the TE-S+ they released for last gen a couple months ago is supposed to get a current gen release.
Gonna buy the shit out of the TE-S+ if true.

If that's true I would rather get that one instead of the Chun stick. I'll hold on to my preorder for now but hopefully they announce something in the next couple of months.
i'm banking on it being true, which is why i've held off on a PS4 TE2 so far
i'll be terrible at the SF V beta but at least i'll have the latest and greatest stick next March

I'm loving my VLX but I like to have a smaller stick to play when others come over or I don't feel like setting things up. And the fact that I just buy sticks for no good reason......
Why not just get a HRAP Silent or any other RAP?
Since Hori introduced their parts with the Fighting Edge, I never really got the appeal of Madcatz since they're generally more expensive. Is it just the save and shape?
Lots of people don't like Hori parts. I don't like the weight, size, and form of the HRAP cases. Pretty much the only Hori sticks I like are the old HRAPs, the Fightingedge, and the VLX.
TE2 are bigger than the new HRAPs, weight more, and come standard with sanwa. The TE2 is super easy to mod and lets me make sticks like this:

I love the Hayabusa, but I still hate the size of the HRAPs. Impressions of it are mostly positive, but people like what they like. I also don't care for the button placement. It's better on the VLX where I have more space.
If Hori had come out with a PS4 fightingedge, I wouldn't have TE2s.

For a casual player, it's definitely fine. Only drawback is you can't easily upgrade to better parts if you decide to get more serious. Bur for $35, it's good

If it has all the buttons on a PS4 controller this time (meaning the touchpad) then I'm in. I've been wanting something heavier than my Hori Kai.
Same. I sure hope there's a touchpad this time, just so the game doesn't have to hold back touchpad functionality and they can put the stupid share button out of the way. The Kai has done the job til now, but I want a bigger base.
