Super "NeoGAF Arcade Stick Thread" II TURBO

anyone get a PS4 stick working on a PSTV?
I'm in need of an answer to this too; my needs are a bit special on that I also need twin analog inputs simultaneously with dpad input, which rules out pretty much every universal board made.

Right now I'm having to make do with a PS3 wired controller that only happens to sort of work (and only a certain revision of it... bought another and it didn't work at all) and an inPin PS controller adapter.

Anyone have their order ship from Mad Catz?

Mine says it shipped Wednesday, but there is zero movement on the FedEx tracking since then.

Working on customizing my first stick. Got some side panels on the way and a plexi/art/washer set coming from Art. Will post the final result once it's all together.

I got an update at 4:55pm on Wednesday that said it arrived at a FedEx in California but haven't anything since.

I'd just been wondering how my Kai would look with red buttons & my question has been answered; good pic mate, looks really good.

Thanks man! I'm going a bit deeper in the modding dept. with it now that I got most of the parts I needed today.

Going to paint the outer casing, bat top, and internal button casing of the gamerfinger buttons royal red and cover the top plate and wire cover with the carbon fiber sheet. Might switch the cherry MX red switches to blues for the click unless I get used to the smoothness of the reds.

That's gonna look great, post pics when you're done. I'm interested to see how the carbon fiber sheet looks, I might copy you and replace the artwork for it :)

Really interested in how the carbon fiber sheet will look.

getting the SF V itch, busted out my 360 TE and just ordered a bunch of parts to mod it out :)

Chun-Li art and Light blue ball top and Buttons :)

Does anyone know what you need to buy to get a OG ps3 TE stick working on a PC that its incompatible with?

It worked on my old rig but not on my new one. I believe its a usb pci hub or something?

I need to know what to look for :(

Sigh. I've tried looking for answers on painting the case for the Fighting Edgr. I've googled for modded Edge's with painted cases. Nothing. I really want to paint mine pink. I'm starting to think this is a case you're not supposed to paint or something due to material.

Not sure if this is the right thread for it but does anyone know if the Brook converters support directinput devices? I'd like to use my sega saturn usb controllers on ps4. I know I can use it on PC but if I goto a tournament I'm gonna be left out if they don't work. Thanks

Dang went to order a single octagonal gate, gonna be $22 after shipping and tax lol wut. Noooo, why don't you just put that sucker in an envelope and mail me the old fashioned way :(

Need some help pls, I got a hori rap v5 silent hayabusa for Christmas . The thing is after 2 months of play I don't enjoy the led sensors on the joystick so I was thinking of getting an hori hayabusa with micro switches , the problem is my current stick has a 6 pin connector from the pcb , and from what I'm getting the standard is 5 pin , I wonder what does the 6th pin do ? I checked the connectors and the cables would fit but would the pcb accept it ? Is it compatible , has anyone tried it ? Thanks for any help in advance.

You have a picture of the joystick?

Woop! Pretty much done. I'll probably change out the rest of the Kuro buttons for Gamerfinger ones to keep it in line with the rest.

Great job.

Anyone know if the Brook Universal PCB plays nicely with Remora RGB Controller/ArcEye3 LED setup? All the parts are common ground so I assume there should be no issue but was just curious if anyone has done the work already.

New panel for my cab all set up. Ready for sf5 :)

Oh I like that. I was planning on building a full cabinet this summer and stick my current PC in it to play modern fighting games. You have the plans for that thing? Did you just house your PS4 inside it?

-I built a raspberry pi2 powered bartop arcade last summer and love it. But I would really like a full cab like that to play modern games.

It's an older version of a Kraylix cab. I have the consoles sitting on the side of it on some shelves. :)

Friend of mind sold it to me. Not sure if the plans are available online.

Still no update on my TES+ FedEx tracking from MC since Wednesday. It seems like they're intentionally sitting on it so that it won't arrive earlier than the 16th. Weird.

Nice job! The red really came through after it dried. Looks great.

I'm not a fan of the clear buttons but wow those gamefingers sit very high don't they?

I was going to hop on them buy Skilletor told me about RGs and OBS-MXs. The actuation/travel distance required for gamefingers is like 2mm, I think sanwa obsf-30s is like 1.2-1.4mm and obs-mx is even less.

Is this your first time with mechanical buttons? Do you find it feels mushy when you bottom out on the buttons and hit the foam? Let me know your thoughts on 'em

I love the RG buttons. Game changer IMO, really nice middle ground feel.

Yup. Wish I had some red ones.

Want some to out in my te-s+, but don't like how any of the in Stock buttons match.

I got some purple ones for my Femme Fatale TE stick. I think I got them at Paradise Arcade Shop a while back. Still need to make a stick out of my Namco Cyberlead panel.
