I forgot they had a Ryu one. Damn. Well I'll probably get this one as it looks less "gamer gear" and more like a regular backpack. Your seal of approval is all I need to make a decision.
Might get the Bison one later on if they have any available or wait until they release another model.
Is there a helpful guide for installing the Brooks Universal PCB? I'd like to put one in a TES+.
I want it! Been waiting for this to come out for a while. I emailed them a few months ago and they said June/July for their new line of stuff so sticks should be next.
I have a 2 player stick that uses 2 PS360+ PCB's. I did not make it myself.
Would it be fairly easy to replace them with the Brook universal PCB's? Would it require soldering?
Anything I should be aware of first?
Should be easy, as everything screws in and the USB just plugs in. The only soldering that might be needed is if you absolutely need the touchpad button.
if you want something that will recognize button presses then you need a controller. I'm currently working with a Kaimana from Paradise arcade, and I'm pretty sure thats what is recommended for simplicity's sake. Can anyone give product recommendation for LED buttons as I see people talking about Remoras, Sparky JRs, and fgwidgets. Basically what are the differences
I'm actually pretty lost on what needs to be done and what products to buy, I've done one mod in the past (turned PS2/XB1 stick into a 360 stick by gutting the PCB and putting in/soldering a 360 PCB). I'll probably gut this one and make it work on PC/PS4 I hope.
Basically, I want to just add a light to the button when it's depressed since I'm making a stick for my son, figure the lights would be fun to play with.
Not sure. I'm on vacation and haven't gotten a chance to test it.Does it recognize the PCB as a pokken controller, pro controller, or classic controller?

I can't even bother with Paradise Arcade, they never respond to queries about the LVT3 or if there's a revision, update, etc.
yea, just get the kaimana LEDs for easy indexing for coding. Thanks so much! Kaimana's Breakout w/ Mini PCB also looks new and simple as it's solderless. Looks like it works with any translecuent buttons as well as long as the J2 RGB LEDs fit?
Yeah it's called the Guardian. They tweeted out those pics and listed two different sizes so I believe there will be 2 options. Is that a new defender? Looks really nice.
Don't forget to buy patches to make it unique lol.Now I gotta buy this too...
Can anyone with a Brooke Universal Fighting Board & the update check if the Wii U mode is Smash 4-friendly?
Got it. The idea of playing Ryu in Smash 4 with an arcade stick may push me to take him more seriously (I currently have just Bayonetta & Sonic, with a pocket Shulk). I think the Wii U converter is Smash 4-friendly, so there's hope. There's also TTT2, which has its best version on the Wii U.It is not out yet. Give it about the end of the week or sometime next week.
I have had an order for one of the Ryu fight stick bags from Arcadeshock since it went up for Pre-order. They sent me an email on May 17 saying it was shipped.
Been checking and the tracking number still says only that a shipping label was created. They haven't responded to my last two emails over the past week.
Going to call them tomorrow, but is this normal for them lately?

Well, the Brook guy at SRK is saying that the Wii-U functionality is for Pokken only.
This only happens in Joy2Key? Have you tried the MCZ Xinput driver for the TE2 from here http://madcatz.com/downloads/? Does it happen on a console?
It happens on console too. I did some more testing with it, and even with the R1, L1, and L2 buttons all disconnected by the quick disconnects, the R1 is still stuck on. On PS4, as soon as the controller turns on, the action for that button (in this case I had Bloodborne) happens immediately on its own, then nothing.
I'm thinking something went wrong with the PCB. Seems weird though considering it's been fine up until now. But I have no idea what else it could be.
It's 3 days past the return date for Amazon, too. Not sure what I'm going to do with the thing.

R.I.P. My Hopes & Dreams of Playing TTT2 on the Wii U w/ My Eightarc Onyx or playing Ryu in Smash 4 w/ Said StickHot damn! The Brook's UFB works with Pokken. I'm playing R. Pika with my modded stick. Color me impressed.
Edit: It sadly does not work with Smash. So it's a Pokken only option.

Oh well, at least I have more of a reason to get into Pokkén.
I don't own TTT2 so I couldn't try it out. It may or may not work. We just need someone to test it.
I should also mention that the stick only works in Pokken once your in the game. It doesn't work on the Wii U menu screen.
Edit: I may have been doing something wrong. Focus Attack is claiming it works with Smash:

When I preordered my ultimax TE2 it came like this bit with the X button. Imagine my disappointment. Put in a ticket on the site and it got taken care ofGuys I need your help figuring something out.
Not long ago I bought a new SF5 Madcatz TES stick. Today I hop on to play some SF5 on pc, and in the training room I quickly realize my fierce/R1 button isn't working. I've been running it through joytokey, so I hop out and double check that it's assigned right. Sure enough it's not only assigned right, but also shown being active without me pressing it.
I did some fiddling, and even with the button replaced with another working one, or hell even when there is no button even installed there, it still doesnt work and is shown as being constantly active in joytokey. Everything else works completely fine, it's just that one button.
Any ideas what could be wrong or how to fix it? Hoping my whole stick isn't shot, so replies/ideas would be appreciative here :

Well dang. I was really hoping I messed up. Oh well.Focus Attack has it wrong. Brook people, themselves, said that it only works for Pokken only.
Put in a help ticket on Mad Catz's support site and they'll probably help you out. They got me a replacement wire after the one that came with my te2 from amazon turned out to be faulty.

This happened to me te2+ I just got a replacement sent to me.
With madcatz on the verge of going out of business is this the end for sanwa sticks? I mean only other mainstream company that make sticks is hori and they use their own hayabusa series.
No luck with my Arcadeshock order from Feb. No response on email. No return on message left on phone.
They are damaging my calm.
How is madcatz on the verge of going out of business?
You talked to Giby or Hellpockets on twitter? They work for arcadeshock.
I put in a ticket Thursday night, heard back from them on Friday. They asked for proof of purchase to get things started, which I sent them, but haven't heard anything back yet.
How long was the turn around time for you guys?
I wouldn't worry about that, something tells me there aren't going to be any future MCZ productsDefinitely sours me on future MCZ products
