Super "NeoGAF Arcade Stick Thread" II TURBO

My UMvC3 Hori stick keeps disconnecting from my PS3/PC from time to time, most often when I do certain button sequences fast/hard (ie forward and MP for SF4). Anyone know what might be the cause and if it's something that would be a simple fix?

Something might be loose in there. While I haven't had any issues with my HORIs, I did have a Madcatz stick with one of the ground solder points come undone. The result was similar to what you are experiencing with yours.

I'm totally their customer. I'll buy one once (and if) it comes available in a heartbeat. Probably be $800 after freight, though.

I don't think it is badly priced next to a Kray. Being able to drop an official CP is a big big selling point. I got an exta new single-player Astro Panel sitting in a box.

Throw in a J-360 and Flamemeister with a few retro consols and it would be quite a nice setup.

So I have a super SF4 TE slim stick and opened it up for the first time today. Is there a reason why there is a sticky adhesive under the cover? I watched a couple of videos and the top of other sticks came off just by lifting the ball top. Is there an easy way to remove the adhesive? I'm thinking of replacing a few parts but I feel like the cover will snap whenever I pry it open.
 
I saw a pic someone mounting an LS-32 to a Virtua Stick High Grade but needed some screws to go through the main panel and then through the plexi.

Anybody have a pic of the bottom main panel of the VSHG without the lever or buttons so I can compared the Sanwa JLF's mounting and the size of the LS-32 of where I can try mounting?

Oh nvm just compared my JLF and LS-32. If I get a VSHG, I might have to do some experimental drilling.
 
Since you are here, any update on Wii U stick. Getting close to launch!

This month and next are pretty stacked with the big Nintendo launch but I've got $150 earmarked.

FFFFFFFF dat N3 model looks really sick. Reminds me of Mass Effect's N7 colors. Too bad it's exclusive. :(

I just bought a Super Famicom and a Sailor Moon fighting game, and I'm wondering, are there any decent SNES sticks that are relatively affordable and available?

If I could find a way to get my 360 stick to work on the SNES, that'd be even better.
 
Can anyone tell me of any particular name of the the Super Turbo and the CE cabinets as well as the 2 white cabinets next to them in this picture from Super Arcade?

Ah cool on the new Hori sticks, missed that news. Ordered the refresh of the old blue amazon V3.
 
Got my plexi and art for my V.S. stick. Waiting on cherry switch buttons and clear plungers so I can add in the rest of the button art and I am just about done.

Already dualmodded with Phreakmod's Cerebrus board. This is very much inspired by the new MadCatz Tekken Tag 2 TE-S with the broken glass art. I had an epiphany with finally getting a decent compilation of Bruce Lee artwork together without making it look weird and off because majority of Bruce Lee photos online are low resolution and poorly scanned or watermarked.

It doesn't look like they're doing the same tentative preorder thing for it, at least not yet. It could also mean they've already greenlit it and they'll do actual preorders closer to when the game is actually set to come out (which could be as late as next June given the current "Spring 2013" date).

Are you going to order the big controller? And how did you plan to go about doing so?

Also, don't forget about the Project DIVA thread~

Awe, OK.

I'll wait for updates.

Not going to order the big one. My big regret is not getting the original but at this time it is too rich for my blood. Just did a big move this month and the next two are stacked with all the arcade sticks. I, mean, I gotta get a Daimond VLX and it is more important. Plus Wii U, Neo Geo X :-(

Will surely get the mini version. No fancy LED action.

NCSX offered the last one. Don't think they will do it again. I've had good luck with CD Japan and Special Request but they a little on the pricey end.
