Sorry for the late reply. You can just use regular paper. It has to be 11 x 17 sized at least. To cover the whole panel.
 
you can also do the same with a MadCatz SE fightstick, since it also can take Seimitsu levers :) but doing so will run you about the same $100 range, depending on your luck finding an SE.

i'd say get the HRAP EX-SE. It's hefty and as with most people here, seem to be a favorite. (it's my Second favorite, stick ever, if that counts)... $110 is average price, you can probably find some on forum trading sections if you have access to those, there's also ebay.
 
I really wish either the KI stick were less expensive or the PS360+ worked with the XB1. I could say that I'm surprised about the latter, but in reality, I'm really not. I'll tell ya though, if AkiShop Customs put out a new version of the PS360+ that was XB1 and PS4 compatible, I'd buy it in a heartbeat.

What can I say, my TE stick has a special place in my heart. It's my first arcade joystick and also the first time I did any stick modding.
 
My Namcostore Tekken Hybrid TE just came in.

Level of finish isn't quite up to par with the SCV stick, surprisingly, but I like the all-black far better. Might have to get a smaller plexi and throw a bezel on this thing too.
 
So I picked up the namco te stick that was on sale. Is there any guide/help on dual modding it? Assuming the main component I need is just a ps360+ or toodles cthulu pcb?
 
I'm trying to print out a big Hori sign for my collection (finally starting to display stuff at home; since I've been at home more lately).

Not sure if I'm going to do their square logo or the long one with hori spelled out, hrmm..
 
Regarding the Killer Instinct TE2 FightStick preorders/shipments:

Some of our shipment got through customs this week and more hopefully in the next few days. Preorders from our site should all be fulfilled and retailers should be getting their stuff as well (North America). EU is supposed to be shipping directly this week too.

My TE2 came in some time last week and I picked it up Sunday after I got back from vacation. I preordered in-store at GameStop as soon as it was available. Judging by what I've been reading online I've been pretty lucky, as it seems like a good chunk of people are still waiting on their sticks. The GameStop guy did say that my stick was the only one they got in because I was the only preorder.

So far the stick is working great! I don't mind the art as much in person so that's good. I think I'll keep it as is :)
 
so it turns out that the namco stick was shipped as COD. Not noted anywhere on their site (or on the UPS tracking page for that matter), and thanks to customs (I'm in Canada) I wind up paying $40 at the door.

Some fucking bullshit i tell ya D:
 
did i get a messed up edition or the Tekken Hybrid sticks only had "NAMCO" on ONE side :S

edit- odd thing too, when i first opened it up, the balltop was unscrewed... i had to void warranty :(
 
damn, all this time i thought it was BOTH sides... haha... now that think about it, all they ever show pics of this stick is from the Namco side, no wonder...


cool stuff, would definitely look forward to a "sequel" to this style of TE :) (maybe for next gen tekken? haha)
 
I can't get used to the Namco stick after using the SCV Soul Edition for a year. The stick being closer to the buttons feels cramped and my hands dont like it.
 
I hope if they do another Namco or tekken stick they take visual cues from the Noir HD cabinets. Kind of like how the VSHG takes subtle design cues from the Lindbergh universal.
 
Got my stick! It's beautiful :). I had to pop mine open though, the ball was pretty loose. It's the only stick I'm not going to mess with; it's perfect as is.

Good news! Just waiting on Amazon to update a shipping time. They still say no shipping estimate but say the 13th. My One has been sitting getting a bit dusty. Need my stick!
 
SO after not even a month of buying my fight stick my LB and RB buttons conked out, it makes no sense either because they worked last week and and I let my stick sit in my room until today and they're broken. So frustrating, I just wanted to buy a stick and be set for at least a couple of months. It was genuine Sanwa parts too. Are there any recommendations from you guys on specific buttons though? I can only buy Amazon, but I'm looking at this 2 piece one here for $7.50 since I'm a little tight on the budget right now.

If they are sanwa parts then just check the connection. Other than that then open the buttons up and put em back together. Should be fine.

I'd still have to open it though, and I don't know if I have the proper screwdriver. I was going to change the artwork someday as well, guess this may be as good a time as any if I have to take it apart. Will need to wait a while for that though.

I just meant that buttons don't just konk out. Something minor. Or major if it is a PCB issue.

It'd probably be cheaper to buy them from Arcade Shock or Focus Attack or Paradise Arcade separately instead of through Amazon.

Oh yeah, I've browsed Focus Attack and things are definitely cheaper there. Unfortunately, I don't have a credit card and I buy Amazon gift cards to get things through there. So I'm limited Amazon (or possibly ebay as well, sometimes, but I don't trust it much) which is why that's my only option for now.

I would literally cry if this was the case, now I really want to check it, I'll look for a screwdriver after I'm done playing Marvel and look into it. I hope it's nothing with the pcb, I would probably throw it out the window and drive over it with my car multiple times if that was the case out of frustration.
