Mmm, I think they will.
The rule of thumb here is that in each game, Samus (and ergo Zero Suit Samus) is always based on the latest Sakamoto produced Metroid game that's out at the time.
As you can see, Samus is based on Super Metroid in Smash 64 and Melee, Zero Mission in Brawl, and (unfortunately) Other M in Smash 4.
Zero Suit Samus is a little more interesting. Obviously she's based on Zero Mission in Brawl and Other M in Smash 4, but her SSB4 design nonetheless appears to be an amalgamation of both, taking some details from the OM design while retaining the more aethletic form seen in ZM and Brawl. I'd imagine when the time comes for the next Smash, it'll be the same thing. Thankfully SR ZSS looks pretty athletic already as is.
That is, unless another Sakamoto Metroid comes along before then and completely changes her design again.

I don't know what's going on, but I can hardly ever get any games anymore. Up until like a week ago I could get team games and 1v1 games pretty easily and now I struggle to even find 1v1 games. Anyone else experiencing this? It's not like I'm disconnecting or anything, I just can't get matched with anyone.

Rage quit no, but maybe got disconnected once or twice due to poor connection (presumably not mine)? I still am able to connect to others, it's just that the frequency is tremendously down. I use to be able to get a game going immediately, now it takes a few minutes (or longer).
When I do get connected, I'm typically connected to the same individuals over and over again (even if they keep leaving and reconnecting). That's out the ordinary for me as well.
Yeah okay, so they need to change ZSS's design RIGHT NOW. She's still a space babe but holy shit she's toned as fuck and is an absolute giant.

That look is only in the art book, ZSS's actual look in SR is I think lifted basically straight from Other M.

There is a "punishment room/matchmaking" for people who disconnected during battles few times. It seems not for your case so I guess people are getting tired of Smash 4 nowadays?

Actually yeah, you're right, now that I'm looking at the ending picture again.
EDIT: Third look over, it's neither--she's got the darker suit colors and the longer ponytail of the concept art but the design of the Zero Suit itself seems to be identical to Other M's.
